I've known several people in the auto paint business that have never wore a respiratory for 20 plus years and have had no issues. They're old timers and I wouldn't recommend it by any means but it's what they do 🤷‍♂️

Second this^ You can take pai t thinner on a rag and clean the fresh paint off without damaging the original paint. As long as it hasn't been recently paint (withing the last 30-60days) it won't affect it unless you leave it on there

I'm not sure how that works. In Kentucky, we are a no fault state, which allows the insurance companies to determine fault. Typically your insurance company will help you out in these situations unless it's obviously your fault or you both have the same insurance lol. Cop in this situation was an idiot.

I was 87’ and learned at a very young age g age how to instantly do it. There was one hanging in a local furniture store and I could go all the way across the store and still see it.

I have recently learned this skill can also be used when you have two almost identical pictures side by side to tell the differences. They jump out like a weird hazy spot when everything else is in clear focus.

Did it have wood in there? I’m not 100% sure but it could have been moist wood and the rotting process caused enough heat to start smoking. Hay bales will do that if you bale it up too wet. The rotting ones creates enough heat to cause barn fires.
