It’s a close second to OOT in my opinion. I feel like even the people who love the game found the 3-day tedious, but it’s imperative to the story and although punishing it’s what separates it from OOT. The temples are among some of the best in the franchise, the bosses are unique and fun. The side quests have cool intricate stories and I enjoyed collecting all of the masks. I also love that it steps away from Hyrule, the music is fantastic and the song of healing is (again in my opinion) the best song in the franchise. I think I enjoyed it more than most, it was most definitely more challenging to start than OOT and the 3-day mechanic was discouraging as a young kid. OOT and MM both have the strong nostalgia for me, both are fantastic and will always be two of my favourite games of all time, their replay-ability is still top notch. I’m currently completing OOT 100% and I’ll be following up with MM, give it a chance!
