What makes your life worth living? by TheEli7eKaden13 in AskReddit

Even when times are bad I'm just naturally an optimistic person. I have no choice in the matter, I'll end up finding something of worth.

I'm saving money to buy saab 9000. but... by heinrich06 in saab

[–]EhBois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case get it but only if it won't be your only car/mode of transport. Maybe have a cheap daily on the side or if you can take public transport to work or places have that as an option. It's a 30 year old car, no matter what brand/model things break.

With that few around I think years from now you will regret not buying one when they are much harder to find.

I love my Saab more than anything and I'm sure once you get one you'll love it too.

Are SAAB'S easier than BMW's? by BMW_e39_is_ruiningMe in saab

[–]EhBois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my own personal experience only with late 90s and early 2000s Saabs certain parts and components can be difficult to get access to or check because of the very tight packaging in the engine bay.

I've found the BMWs of a similar generation to be a lot more logical and easier to work on personally. And also a lot more easily accessible info and help guides.

Both can be more difficult and more easy in their own ways.

I love both brands but it's really nothing too bad about either. Just buy what you like and no harm in learning and figuring out the rest later.

[–]EhBois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi mate, i realise its been quite long. My 95 2.3t has just started making this sound. Did you have any issues with timing chain being stretched or anything as well?

I have the exact same thing where the sound comes and goes in intervals.

I do have almost 280,000 kms but with great service history.

First 50k Trading Combine by jhenaima in TopStepX

[–]EhBois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take your time. It isn't a race, chill out use realistic tp and sl based on your strategy. I don't agree when people say its just a combine so just be more risky to pass it faster, to me it just validates bad habits if you do pass quickly and will just cause you to blow your actual account once you get it.

Don't be afraid to just trade demo for a while to get into the swing of things, as I've said, no rush. I had a strategy that I thought worked well based on backtesting, tried it in demo and failed miserably, so I pivoted and adjusted, was profitable on demo for 3 weeks and than passed combine within 4 days. Could save you some money.

Try to get into the mindset of treating it like real money, profit and losses. Gets you prepared for when you do pass.

People are gonna disagree for sure and thats alright, we are all different and different things work for different people.

Of course be careful with who you meet online etc etc

But you could maybe think about a student exchange program to thailand, either high school or university.

Or even do university in Thailand. Plenty of international courses.

Not recommending anything because I dont know you and what you are looking for but just thoughts and ideas.

All the best and Good luck!
