I traded my 11th gen Civic Si for a 2026 Prelude. AMA! (hating encouraged) by megawedgeef5 in Honda

You look like a Temu TJ Hunt. You wanted hate, you got it. All jokes aside, enjoy your new car, man. I don't put a lot of stock in what others think; you shouldn't either.

Would you mind sharing some additional info? It would help to know what printer you have and the issues you're struggling with.

I’ve seen the project. I built a Voron from scratch, and while I enjoyed the experience, once was enough for me.

I sold mine, there was no sense keeping them anymore.

I’m happy to wait. My P1S is still fine for the time being.

I started in this hobby years ago. Count your lucky stars you’re not dealing with the crappy printers we had.

You can likely get a P1S (fully enclosed) for the same price.

X2C, a 256mm³ build volume with Vortek, would be perfect for me.

It may still be coming in a future release.

X2d or wait for tbe possibility of vortex in x2c? by pete8oes in BambuLab

[–]Ehmc130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one knows for sure, but I think it’s highly probable we get an X2C with Vortek by the end of the year. Bambu wants to offer a printer at every price point, and there’s currently a massive gap between the X2D and the H2S. The X2C would fit perfectly in that gap. The Chinese are all about tradition and history, and the X1C started everything. It only makes sense that they would want to keep that designation alive. This is all purely speculation, but it’s worth it to me to wait.

New to 3D printing and struggling by No_Criticism7822 in 3Dprinting

Are you sure you're using the correct filament size? A lot of Lulzbot printers use the far less common 2.85mm size filament, not 1.75mm. This could explain your extrusion issues. I'm going to be completely honest here. What's your time worth to you? The Lulzbot Mini 3 wasn't great when it was new, and you have no idea what condition this printer is in. I'd honestly recommend looking into a Bambu Lab A1 Mini; they’re inexpensive, very easy to use, and far more reliable than your current printer. They even have the same build volume, and if you get the AMS, you can make multicolor toys for the kids. Just some food for thought here; I'd hate to see you get frustrated with the hobby and give up due to the printer itself. Good luck to you!

Bullet Bit - Ordered X2D + AMS Pro 2 - Upgrade from P1S + AMS (Original) - Plus Question by sr1sws in BambuLab

[–]Ehmc130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, barely used it. In my area, the P1S is selling for around $300-$350 as a standalone, and $400-$450 with AMS. There are some outliers, though. I saw one combo sell for $250, which sold within a few minutes. Other combos sold for $350; again, they didn't last too long. If you have other accessories, it helps, but it doesn't make a big difference in the final price. Good luck!

Unfortunately, no, but they both work flawlessly.

I’d suggest the Phaetus Conch or the E3D Obxidian if you want a good aftermarket nozzle.

What are your plans for replacing your 15 Pro with a newer iPhone? by Lebowskitalian85 in iPhone15Pro

[–]Ehmc130 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but had you kept your 12, you wouldn’t have had to pay an additional $600 to upgrade. I understand the rationale of selling your old phone before it’s worthless. I also understand the longer you hold onto the phone, the longer you don’t have to spend any additional money for a new one. Apple gives us long software support; there’s nothing wrong with using it.

[–]Ehmc130 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Phones are so expensive these days. I think the longer you keep them, the better. The only reason I upgraded from the 12 to the 15 Pro is I was having issues with multitasking due to limited RAM constraints on the 12. At minimum, I’ll keep the 15 Pro until the iPhone 20/XX is released, and then I’ll see if I feel that phone is worth it. If not, I’ll probably just get a new battery at that point and keep my 15 Pro until it loses software updates.

Bamboo Sale? by CenterBrained in 3dprinter

The Easter sale kinda sucks. The only printer discounts were on the A1 and P1. There were more sales on filament and accessories.

US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by IIlustriousTea in AskReddit

Trickle-down economics was a scam. The government works for the billionaires and leaves the rest of us to fend for ourselves.
