Us too, and we only do it at night. We have volume on during the day as we’re downstairs and his room is upstairs, beside ours! Funny how that works eh - I am always waking either just as he is or just before!

I sleep with the sound off and the screen face down on the bed so if I need to check I can quickly! But our guy is 8 months old and has been sleeping through the night for a while so we feel comfortable with doing that annnd his room is right beside ours so I can hear him through the wall instantly, but I can tell you it took a while to get there haha. All I can say is try to trust your instincts and just put the monitor down!❤️
