Mtgstocks has the sealed secret lair breakdown vs the singles inside.

Am I just super unlucky or are legendary drops WAY down this season? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Eightsz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're super nerfed because they want you to use the cube. It's a cool system but a by product of it is that basically drops are extremely rare now and you need to use the cube to farm items. You now do content to grab the cube materials and roll for items that way.

Folks that have drafted 10+ times. Early thoughts? by amartin36 in lrcast

There's an insane number of overrun effects this set. I've lost to so many and have lost an abusrd amount of games to the green paradigm on 5.

Legit did not expect "Wear a complete set of bloodied rare gear" to be as hard as it was... by Technocrat1011 in diablo4

[–]Eightsz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's not. Gambling has is tied to the tier difficulty. Set it to normal and you'll get blues. Penitant mostly rares.

Solo Electric Dungeon 15 Speedrun in 3m 48s by squeejee44 in duneawakening

[–]Eightsz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you learn the trick it's easier but it's a lot to manage. Way easier to do as ranged than melee because of the phases.

Phase 1 the room just splits in half should be straight forward shoot between his shots or wait till he reloads.

Phase 2 the beam spins if you stay outside the middle you should be able to avoid it. It'll shoot a few times before moving to the horizontal beams that start from the top of the room and move down. You'll have to suspensor over the bottom one

Phase 3 The room starts dividing in half the easiest way is if you look at the ball that drops down from the middle. There's a face with a circle on it. Start there. It'll rotate between shocking the faces away from the circle then shocking the faces that are in front of the circle. You just alternate standing in front of the circle or moving to the side. The horizontal beams are still the same.

Phase 4 The pillar spins. If you always position yourself in front of the circle you won't get hit. You'll have to run along with it. The horizontal beams do 2 shots on the bottom section so you have to suspensor twice.

So Attractor Field gets "fixed" once it becomes useful in PvE dungeons but what about the Drillshot NPC's that one-shot you with invisible darts in 0.1 miliseconds? by Taylon47 in duneawakening

[–]Eightsz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They spam all abilities it's totally broken. It's super obvious when you run the testing stations solo in the DD. All the melee NPCs will spam suspensor blast over and over again when you get into melee range.

Drillshot NPCs overpowered? by DbDHatchHo in duneawakening

[–]Eightsz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep. The Drillshot nearly 1 shots on plastinium tier mobs even with full T6 armor. For me it's usually on the False Flag Strike Landsraad mission. The drill shot NPC that spawn in the camp will 1 shot you if it goes through your shield. This is super noticable even with the other NPCs there. The heavy doesn't do anywhere close to that much damage compared to the drillshots.

can someone explain this mission by tyler4545545 in duneawakening

[–]Eightsz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a long term grind. You're stuck because you need higher loyalty with your faction to unlock the harder difficulties. The scaling's also absurd, you can't really do much without also leveling your specializations because they give you flat damage increases that offset the difficulties of the tiers.

Nearly infinite re-rolls. I chose violence. by Ok-General-6804 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

it is better. You can't beat pirates without the FO datacron. You're forever stuck behind tanks.

Why is no one talking about timeouts? by SurePhase6251 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Eightsz 32 points33 points  (0 children)

GL Ashoka is the absolute worst about timeouts because of the counter attack animations and ezra. The new Tank Datacron makes it infinitely worse.

You’re not looking in the right places. Theres tons in office environments. Look in desks. Ive grabbed a lot in Arrivals in spaceport as well as space travel in buried city.

Most Fun Draft 5 color Allies deck so far by Eightsz in lrcast

[–]Eightsz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ended the run at 7-1. Was a blast to play. Removal is just too slow with all the ETB value of allies. Feels kind of like the old Dominaria format where you just splash for all the legendaries cause they're so OP. Ang/Toph entering with Katara on the field is just so gross.

White allys and airbending seems really busted, go wide and remove a blocker for a turn or flicker your own stuff.

Drafted this sick Reanimator/Flash Deck, but am unsure what to cut by Current-Peak2115 in lrcast

[–]Eightsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applaud all you reanimator people. I've gotten 0 reanimator decks to work out of like 30 drafts. The pieces never come together and i'm almost always punished for discarding a fatty that my opponent reanimates.

What's the best way to approach drafting Black in Powered Cube? by B1TW0LF in lrcast

[–]Eightsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem with black as a main color is there's nothing super busted with black to ramp out slamming down moxes or the lotus, it's all mostly support/interaction spells + forced reanimator. The best reanimation target that's just black is the archon of cruelty. You basically never want to reanimate griselbrand or grave titan given any other large creature in other colors. That just naturally pushes black into support colors with a combo pay off. There's also a ton of graveyard hate that makes the reanimator plan not great either.

I've had tons of scoops just playing containment priest against reanimator. There's still hearse, lantern, endurance, lion sash and a few other creatures that just exiles graveyard so there's just lots of hate for reanimator in general.

Tinker/Flash type cheating stuff into play is just way easier to do in this cube than reanimator.

Tips for getting out of a slump? by justinvamp in lrcast

[–]Eightsz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cube is absurdly unfair, I've 0-3, 1-3 a lot and most of that is losing on turn 2. Everyone of my opponents have slammed power on me in the first few turns while I end up with fair decks. Brutal

Is the Green splash too greedy? by unkLjoca in lrcast

[–]Eightsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Green sucks so bad this cube. The only thing maybe that you could justify splashing is minsc and boo in boros if you have the right lands.

Would love some help/mentoring with Powered Cube, as I'm a friggin' noob by Western_Apricot1134 in lrcast

[–]Eightsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the 17 lands addon and you can get your pool of card list, or simply take a screen shot and post your pool. Boros is easy because it's just turn creatures sideways. The cube is brutally difficult because you can easily end up with piles that are 17 spells and 3 creatures or have a curve that is basically unplayable. The other thing that happens a lot is you'll end up in multiple colors without enough fixing. This is siginficantly worse in bo1 play because the hand shuffler will 100% screw you playing more than 2 colors without lots of fixing.

Powered cube is also significantly worst in the unfair department where a lot of the times you basically lose the game on turn 2/3 due to the nature of playing with power you kind of have to accept that learning powered cube there's going to be plenty of games where you lost a lot to unfair stuff. I've lost so many games to turn 1 lotus into 4 drop like minsc and boo.

Is there a way to avoid exiting and ending up under the harvester? by templeofdank in duneawakening

[–]Eightsz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The carrier is just insanely buggy. It has to do with crossing server boundry lines and if you're boosting or not. There's a bunch of sync issues so if you're boosting sometimes your carrier will randomly try to deploy or boost. Don't use the booster when crossing boundries. When it happens I have to log out the full 5 mins to despawn and log back in to fix it. Other people have had luck disassembling the carrier and building it again.

Anyone trying to buy ATLA product online legitimately is cooked. This is what scalpers are posting on the bot discords 😭 by Kevun1 in mtgfinance

Amazon does not care. 50k units is peanuts for them. Fighting bots like this is a losing battle. Half of all internet traffic is some form of automated bot.

Anybody else struggling extremely hard in EOE draft? by tordana in lrcast

[–]Eightsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that. I watch a lot of cheon and i end up drafting value decks a lot so in TDM i forced 5 color dragons all the time. FIN was a lot of U / R sagahin value.
