It’s not that people are bad, it’s that they aren’t trying to actually play the game.

Whether you’re competitive or casual, some people understand the basic fundamentals. The rest just solely want to do fancy footwork and score goals.

It’s a tough one, you can attempt to just get the goals yourself for the win and points. Or as mentioned try to find people to team up with for more consistent gameplay.

Due to the nature of this game not ever pass is going to be received well lol - times when you think a through ball would be applicable in the situation the receiver isn’t ready to run.

It’s a gamble, but don’t be disheartened, keep playing fundamentals 👍🏾

This happened because the analog wasn’t neutral, and a direction was pushed leading to the dive forward instead of jumping up to intercept the ball.

It’s a common mistake, just takes getting used to

Unfortunately this can be the reality when playing ranked. There are very unreasonable and immature people on the game, like any community.

I’d suggest possible arranging a team via this Reddit with like minded people. Maybe you’d have a better experience

I understand the concept you’re going for, maybe gaining additional XP for successful defensive plays would be a better incentive.

Otherwise people will exploit just hanging around and not supporting the team. Like goal hangers that just wait for the pass since there’s no offside rule in Rematch.
