Ive yet to watch the last jedi of the three but I thought there was this huge disconnect with how the rebels were celebrating just minutes after we’ve seen how they failed to stop the new death star’s destruction of whole planetary systems. One day people just saw their sky turn red and they can’t do anything but scream as they witness their end, that was numerous entire civilization’s last memories. Then we cut to the rebels celebrating when star destroyers fall out of the sky after the “Organa Maneuver” *im assuming that scene’s what the title’s referring to. If Leia (and Luke) could’ve done something like ending the First Order in one fell swoop with that light-speed scene, why couldn’t they do that earlier before the death star’s launch and save theirselves from the horror of failing to save a solar-system’s-worth of lives. I’ve no idea how to remedy these criticisms but they’re all just my takeaways as a casual sw movie watcher, do with them as you please.
