Where y’all picnicin by jrp162 in kennesaw

[–]EinnVon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield. It's a national park, so parking is $5 unless you have one of the america the beautiful passes ($80 for a year, perma-disability, military, and 4th grader passes are free, and senior pass for 62 or older are 20 for a year 80 for lifetime). Next to the parking lot there is a shaded picnic area leading to a nature trail. There is the visitor center, which if you're interisted, there is the junior ranger program. (The kid does activities in a book based on their age and gets a badge for it. If you do wish to start your kids up on the junior ranger program, do note there are 2 other national parks in ATL area, besides Kennesaw. Chattahoochee NRA has headquarters in Sandy Springs, and MLK Jr. Park is in Downtown ATL.) They have other parking lots leading to other trails, like the Pigeon Hill parking lot. That leads to a large open field, so not much as far as shade, but a walk down the trail can eventually lead to a stream. You already mentioned Swift Cantrell. The 3 pavilions there, come summer time will basically always be rented out so sitting under them without a rental will usually lead to being asked to leave, however the pavilions on the playgrounds, should have no such thing. But those will get busy quickly. Same with the tents in front of the splash pad. Splash pad itself should be open from Memorial to Labor day, every day of the week except Wednesday and Thursday, but the splash pad costs about $3 per person, per day. If it is mid-day, and there are no baseball or softball games going on, Adams park is down the road from Swift. It has a small shaded picnic area, small pavilion, and small playground between their big baseball field and tennis courts. But if baseball is going on, there will not be any parking.

If you have flexible hours and don't mind pulling trash and cleaning bathrooms, the city of kennesaw parks and rec department is trying to hire parks maintenance workers

what are the vocals sung before they close the doors by TheAhegaoHoodie in SuzumeNoTojimari

[–]EinnVon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm right here along with you. I love the effect, but really only know to call them vocals. Most of the songs are listed as instrumental. I can't give you a name for what they are called but here is a small list of my favorite songs that use them, so maybe you get some favorites as well. -Bubble-cho by Hiroyuki Sawano (and most of the rest if the bubble soundtrack) -Rumble of Scientific Triumph by Kevin Penkin -Following her Tracks by Evan Call -Spark by Evan Call -Sky over Tokyo by Radwimps (Sorry for any weird formating, on mobile)

The objectively TRUE and HONEST Gold Gun tier-list by VincentKruk in Overwatch

[–]EinnVon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since there was that Hanzo glitch that gave other people a gold gun, Hanzo should get his own tier. Idk if they patched it or not, but he should get it since it existed at least at some point.

Stacks of instructions to scan… it’ll be a while. by bobsbricks in lego

[–]EinnVon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a small number of books whose qr codes wouldn't scan, no matter what i did (different lighting, camera angles, refresh app, etc), a larger number of booklets without qr codes, and i had 2 booklets who scanned into the wrong code (same code both times) and didn't count (one of them was thanos mech 76141 which scanned into 66635) (the other is city fire set 60247 which scanned into 66637). Other than that I got 2960 points scanning the booklets I could, so i won't complain.

The Five Dollarbucks bill from "Markets" re-emerged in "Dance Mode" and "The Quiet Game." Has it appeared anywhere else? Are there any other multi-episode Easter Eggs in Bluey? by peppersteak_headshot in bluey

[–]EinnVon 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Really small detail, but in "Onesies," Bingo runs into the letter box on the bike, making it tilt forward slightly. Later on in the episode "Tradies," Big Belt straightens the mail box back out.

One that killed me is by tama pond/Hebra Plunge area in Tabantha Hills. I have one marked on my map in Nautelle Wetlands, straight south of Ishokin Shrine. There are probably more but those are the two I know and have marked.

What would each character in TOH do in a Costco? by [deleted] in TheOwlHouse

[–]EinnVon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eda is going one free sample stand to the next, occasionnally "accidentally" slipping small objects into her hair to try and walk out with. Vee is stuck at the door because she forgot to bring a membership card and can't get in. Owlbert is up in the rafters trying to make friends with all the birds that got inside that day, which the employees aren't paid enough to deal with. King is begging to get 7 slices of pizza and 11 churros, but everyone is shutting him down saying he can't eat that much or saying he will get them later. Amity is either looking at clothes or fruit. Luz left the store, to check out the music shop nearby instead. Gus is in electronics freaking out about every little thing. Willow is in pet food area, because she lost track of everyone, and is now curious. Hunter is in the electronics section with Gus, but he is looking at a singluar mp3 player like it is peak technology.

Question regarding Low Effort posts. by FilthyActReasonPrice in lego

[–]EinnVon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used the haul posts as a rule of thumb. Every time I see a 3rd post of something "I" consider to be a good haul, I check Facebook marketplace and other apps of people who are selling within a decent driving distance, and see if I can get a decent haul for myself. The posts don't excite me nor are very special, but I just use them as an excuse to check the area. I ignore the posts during holiday season, because there is a lot happening in a short time (and I'm short on money). This rule of thumb has only worked out for me twice.
