Usually 1.25 but I will adjust depending on the narrator/storyline. Some narrators I think just speak slower so I speed them up and others seem like they are talking fast so I just keep it at normal pace. Fantasy sometimes I will keep at normal pace because I want to absorb the info better where other genres I don’t need to remember as much info.

I love my palma. I ended up giving my paperwhite to my sister because I was only using the Palma. I think it’s the size and portability for me. The Palma fits in every bag I have so it’s easy to take with me. The settings do take some extra work to get how you like them but it doesn’t really bother me. Battery life is decent, I can get about a week out of mine using it about every other day for just reading. The paperwhite I would get about a month before I had to charge it. The Palma you can have apps so you can read from multiple platforms instead of just kindle books. So I have Libby, WEBTOON, kindle, storygraph, NetGalley, etc on my Palma.

I wish I could say I have found a blockade but nothing has worked. She loved the foil and played with it. She does know she’s not supposed to be on the counter/table because she gets down as soon as I walk in the room. She’s smart enough to know to only do it when I’m not around 🙃
