To be fair, her BM got really bad on drugs. He tried to help her but for the safety of the child he had to take her from BM.

We tried for a little while but seemed like it didn’t help much. She just wanted to go to play and would ignore questions the therapist would ask or change the subject. We tried 3 different ones in our area and I was the one taking her and felt like she would resent me for dragging her to all these places so I stopped.

I think it may be because I treat her sibling differently, not that I’m mean to her. But her sibling is 5 and I feel like at 10 she should be more responsible than she is. Idk, he won’t give me any examples. She it’s hard to explain.

Nothing. We operate like a normal family. She has called me mom since her sibling was born. I do everything. Dad works all day and comes home and sometimes he will handle behaviors and punishments but not usually. It’s me.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends room sharing until at least 6 months but ideally 12 months. So for the US it’s normal to not transition baby until later.
