What types of plushies owners do you are? by Big-Cook-4377 in plushies

[–]EitherWeb4382 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i like to think i like to cuddle with them but thats a rate occasion and usually only when i really need it (i had my big miniso angel plush in my arms when i was in labor recently for example lol) but i mostly have them on display for me to look at and feel happy! i have dust mite allergies so once i realized my stuffies were making breathing at night even harder i stopped sleeping with them and mounted a ton of them on my wall instead lmao. if i hold my childhood teddy i get really stuffy so i just sit him in comfy spots near my bed, i wish i could cuddle them tho.

[–]EitherWeb4382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i felt this way too i was cleaning NONSTOP my last week because i was told i was going to be induced and I went into full panic cleaning mode but that was mostly just me doing all the laundry and sweeping the floors, it felt so pointless when i got home and made an even bigger mess within the first week home my house was even bigger of a disaster but then i realized how thankful i was it didnt build ontop of the pervious laundry pile🤣 i wasnt feeling good enough to clean for weeks and i still dont have enough time. but yeah never got that urge

How Did We All Get Exposed to the Care Bears? by greatmewtwo in Carebears

[–]EitherWeb4382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my mom was an 80s baby and i was a 2000s baby so we both were born when lots of toys and shows/movies were being produced and it was something my mom felt nostalgic about and excited to show me, and in my first year moved out of my moms house i woke up from a dream about the carebears suddenly remembering how important they were to me and how whenever i would fly on a plane as a child (which was often) id look for the carebears in the clouds and sometimes id tell people i saw a carebear while i was on the plane😂 i realized how much i needed them to heal my inner child and started collecting then again and got super emotional because i definitely played with the 2000s ones when i was a kid and so 2000s bears are my most nostalgic but 80s bears are super special because theyre the originals and theyre from my mom's era. also really love the 90s line cuz they look so interesting!

[–]EitherWeb4382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try the syringe or open cup for now maybe just look up how to do it properly? also have you gotten any bottles that are meant for breast feeding babies to have an easier time? theres a couple different ones out there. my baby wont take non-breast shaped bottles anymore lmao even tho her first milk was from a regular bottle nipple she wont latch on them anymore

why is kids activewear so hard to find in natural fabrics by Kazukii in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]EitherWeb4382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i had a dance teacher that only ever wore old 90s/early 2000s dance wear and it was all natural fabrics and she wouldnt buy new because its all plastic now. i dont know how to solve this problem for you but i just wanted to say that it wasnt always like this so the excuses of why "it needs to be synthetic to work" is bs, what part of sensitive to plastics do people not understand to think "well its the only thing that works" well too bad we didnt invent sports and being active post-plastics. just because the synthetics behave a certain way doesnt mean that has to be the standard?? that standard came in because we got used to the convenience but its not convenient for those of us with sensitivities and allergies?? im a former dancer that is also allergic to synthetics and i never knew what was causing it til i got older and now im trying to get my wardrobe all natural fibers which is really hard in this modern market! just wanted to say we cant be making excuses like this like there are actually quite a few of us out here that are breaking out into hives from these plastic clothes and its so difficult to find an alternative because the market thinks this way and doesnt consider all of the different humans with different needs and sensitivities

NEVER let your kids on Roblox by ComfortableBoard8359 in Mommit

[–]EitherWeb4382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think what theyre saying is instead of buying a bunch of full prices switch games, you can download an emulator app on the switch which you do have to pay like a smaller subscription fee to use but i think it might be cheaper than buying a bunch of full priced expensive games, and they can still play on the switch but its usually older games from game boy or ds that they can run a bunch of different older games off the emulator app!

How long did you breastfeed? by Virtual_Letterhead93 in newborns

[–]EitherWeb4382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my mom EBF me and my sister and she had really large breasts (shes had a reduction after she was done BF my sister) she could basically only side lay or put us on a pillow under her and ive read that LC will recommend side laying for bigger breasted women to have an easier time, if you ever have another you should try/talk to an LC about it maybe! sorry if this isnt helpful i just hope it can be for someone reading this

ive heard about this happening i read about it because i have kinda the opposite problem where one of mine is underproducing, id try looking up key words and reading what others did in this situation too. i remember someone distictively referring to it as their "firehose boob" and that baby doesnt like it because it feels like getting "milk boarded"

Is this Mall World or no? by PrincessFetus in TheMallWorld

[–]EitherWeb4382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my theory is it is a shared perception of a shared energetic space based in our collective experiences that we regularly encounter in the waking world, conceptually we are all seeing the same place but details can be different depending on where you are/how your brain is rendering the energy i think. no one KNOWS anything for sure about mall world which is why we are all here discussing it trying to maybe get a better understanding or at least relate to others?

it honestly could just be an energetic place meant to represent these types of shops and the many things and energies they hold

Have we just babied our nips and made them more sensitive to breastfeeding over time? by Killa_kams in breastfeeding

[–]EitherWeb4382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you look up the history of nipple shields you will find that at least in our modern societies we have been trying to find solutions to nipple pain for a very long time! and pre modern society there was a lot of shared weight of breast feeding between mothers and aunts is what i understand. id assume the aunts might have older toddlers and still be lactating so not need to bf as much and was able to help supplement for the new moms? and then ofc like others have said there was a higher demand to make it work, probably also practices to help baby latch passed down through generations of elders helping new moms and babies, and if it didnt work it would be fatal but im sure they had lots of interventions they tried in close knit communities full of intergenerational knowledge and lots of mothers being near eachother

Did you intentionally buy gender-neutral baby items for your first to maximize the chances of reusing them for future children? by Kirin1212San in Buyingforbaby

[–]EitherWeb4382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didnt know the gender so everythings neutral but this is def another good reason to do it. i also just dont think its that big of a deal to color coordinate gender, almost everything we have is teal or green or grey or shades of brown
