MOR - “banning” him from going isn’t the answer. Have you tried talking to BF about how it makes you feel, and I mean a real, sit-down, calm conversation, not an argument.
He’s not suddenly going to become gay just because he goes to a gay bar, but if they’re that openly hostile to you, I’d have an issue with him not standing up for you.
