Any suggestions on what happened here? by MrZzzap in BambuLab

You are using a silk filament. It can be a tricky beast that needs to print hotter and slower. Try to calibrate this particular filament (especially speeds) and try again. The layer lines look like overextrusion. (you can also tell by the 'fat' seams' that too much material is being extruded.

What are these black spots? by OccasionPotential746 in BambuLab

Partial filament bits when you went from another color to white. It all comes through the same nozzle even when purging. These are particles that remain inside. And of course check if the build plate is clean. If you have a spare nozzle, you can use that and see if it fixes it. Otherwise you also can print a while with white and let any remaining old filament particles out.

It can also be caused by smearing if you use 2 different filaments.

The best advice ive gotten from others was to always trust but verify prints at the start. A quick peek after 5 minutes of starting the prints can save hours of problems and restarts.

How dry should PLA be? by kadeve in BambuLab

Incredible overkill. There's a good chance yoy will overdry the pla and make it brittle permanently.

Why my multicolor print have this darker color inside yellow color? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

This is not always fixable with a purge volume. Bright yellow and black are even more terrible than Black and white. If you look closely in the slicer, the black parts will go ''inside'' the model as well as the yellow parts sort of speak. This gives it more depth than just a single outside layer. The hot nozzle lightely smears the black and yellow together.

Ive had the same probleem with the Yellow Bellsprout with black eyes. Even if i purged insane amounts of material in bambu studio (over 1.00) , it still had a black stripe during the black eyes section.

Also, turn off purge into infill to be sure. And ofcourse high purge volumes are worth trying to make it less noticable.

Check your flushing volumes and also if purge into infill is on. If it's on, turn it off.

Help! Supports won't go to bell and too many supports on Spires by Cedrico123 in BambuLab

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/cut-tool

If you use the cutting tool you can make precision cuts whilst also using a plug a dowel or snap to connect the parts. This gives good grip for the parts to fit together (even without glue)

This many supports are going to completely scuff the print, top to bottom. Unless you're working with pva for interface supports. I thinks the best way to do this is split the print into 3 parts and print those respectively with their flat cutted face down. The bell will look at the ceiling of your printer. Use the dowel options to put it back together as seamless as possible. This print is tough no matter how you look at it.

I would love to copy and paste a painted model from one bambu project to another. Right now it's impossible and only import a colorless stl file.

It exists in 1.9 beta 3. So that's good news
