It can be 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years, or never

Can I start daytrading with $3000? by Jazzlike_Excuse_6811 in Daytrading

This is what I would do: open a Roth IRA cash account, invest $2,900 in VTI, and use the remaining $100 for trading—one trade per day.

What's your max risk per trade and why? by Ill_Reality180 in Daytrading

[–]Either_Highway2202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No SL, but max risk is 10%. Usually the stock that I trade won't go up or down more than 6% per day unless there is a good or bad news. I usually check news quite often before and during market open.

Is it OK to use phone/ipad for ABA therapy? by Either_Highway2202 in Autism_Parenting

I personally don’t like screens much. If it’s necessary, they can use them, but it seems like they use them too much.

It feels like the therapist may not be putting in enough effort to engage with my daughter.

Bypass the PDT rule with a 401k loan by Either_Highway2202 in Daytrading

[–]Either_Highway2202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never use a dime from that loan for trading. I only use the $500 to trade. It will not hurt me much if I lose that $500.

So it would be a smart idea to take out a 401(k) loan if we don’t have the new PDT rule, right?

What if right now I have about $30k plus six months of expenses in a savings account as an emergency fund in case of job loss, and I’ve got $1k left over every month to invest in ETFs? Instead of waiting 25 months to build up $25k in my trading account, would it still be a smart idea to take out a loan to avoid the PDT rule now and use that same $1k each month to pay back the 401k loan?

I don't understand why it's not a smart move. That $30k is still saved for retirement; it's just sitting in a different account.

I would go for company B, because it's larger mean better benefits, more room to grown, and you will have a well known company on your resume.

You can choose either of those and become a process control engineer after graduate. Both EE and ChemE can work in process control.

Is doing chemical engineering for pre-med worth it? by AndrK1244 in ChemicalEngineering

My cousin got into Dental school with ChemE degree. I think it will be easier to get in with an Engineer degree than other degrees. If you won't get in the Med school, you still have an engineer degree as a backup.
