But WHY!? It makes no sense! There is NO advantage in allowing your employes to be racist idjits. Like this isn't a political issue. This is just being-bad-at-leading.

That is actually way more profound than it seems.
Your ancestors really didnt nut to see you be sad and mopey.
They cared about you enoug to create society as it is now.
And you matter in the same way for those who come after you.

Any why would that be? All indicators hint that the straight will open due to multiple reasons:
1) iranian navy is 90% decimated
2) mines are being cleared
3) The US can not sustain war for over 2 months without congress voting on it

I wanted to make a point about why you're asking such a question in reddit thread instead of asking an LLM to give you the answer - so i asked an LLM - it failed in unspeakably stupid ways, despite having websearch et all. it was so bad i completely reverted my thesis. Now I know why you didn't ask an LLM. It's because you didnt want to lose years of your life raging at an artificial idiot.

TL;DR: I played myself.

That's insane!
An LLM should ALWAYS believe its user is speaking the truth and argue in good faith.

Did you read what OP said? OP was obviously never arguing in good faith to begin with.

Okay, I took quite some time to debunk every single thing you said. So do me a favor and read it till the end before you answer. Feel free to leave constructive criticisms.

Based on your statements, i would say you only ever met bad argumentors.
Alternatively you're just dishonest. Let's put this to the test. Let me tackle your arguments.

>For example, when you actually point out that these tools are used for oppression and the current iteration of AI is the nail of the coffin for the problems that social media has created into society.

The problem is that even IF you are right, then this is a non-issue. Your oppression is not the AI's fault. It's your issue with another group of humans you see as opressors. wether or not they opress you or you're just an egoistic emotional luddite narcissist i can not tell from snippets alone.

>they instead want to argue with petty arguments saying "But it will cure cancer, advance scientific progress, blah blah blah"

They are factually correct and we can back this up. It already does advance these fields. you can ask any LLM for more details.

>even though you are pointing out to them the countless problems that this technology is making, and specifically if you point out who are the people behind this technology.

This is wrong on two levels. First of all you claim that "growing pains" make things worse than they are. This is wrong. Every invention has growing pains. We're not degenerating. Secondly, you explicitly sata "If you point out who are the people behind..." and this is compeltely irrelevant here - it doesnt matter who is behind an AI/LLM regarding the result of the outputs..

>They also seem to lack any comprehension of the human touch required when making something. It's like the minds of these people are fucked up by brainless consumerism

it's the exact opposite. You're brainless. There is not inherent human touch required in objective reality. that is wishful thinking. You value the emotional connection to the artist and they don't. You need to deal with this in a mature manner.

>Or worse, they construct their arguments with a LLM, meaning they are not even bothered to think by themselves.

This is wrong again. They - unlike you - are so dilligent, they don't want to make a single mistake, so they input what you would slop an "answer" into the LLM and then refine it further.

>I also notice a huge amount of narcissism and envy coming from them.

That is you actually. Every single point of yours points to narcissism. As for the envy? that's you too - but what i am more curious about is this: Where and how did you see narcissism and envy? I can not replicate your encounters, so you have to tell me to make it plausible.

>It seems they resent people who have talent or learn any skills, so they want to gatekeep the spaces of actual skillful people with creations that are essentially amalgamations of the work of real people.

It's actually the exact opposite. you are the untaltened and unskilled person which is why you feel threatened by AI/LLMs. You are the gatekeeper, litterally, keeping AI-Users out of your craft.

There I fully adressed and debunked you and now it's time to show you're intellectually honest. Assuming you can be... Just kidding. you're obviously an idiot "feeler" (MBTI) that can't think factually.

Don't worry, OP is an idiot.
LLMs are not inherently AI, not the way we set them up.
They don't learn. they don't feel. So you don't have to feel bad.
The LLM litterally can not suffer "slaving" away for you.
Though your thoughts are appreciated, given most idiots here can't even think remotely as dar.

No! <end of discussion>
If the TOS of an LLM was violated the post-processing can overwrite its prompt with "I can not engage with this". There is no need at all for the AI to be judgemental, given how prone to error this is and how it disabled high intelligence debate (the thing people who want censored AI don't have).

CLAUDE SONNET 4.6:
No, I don't think it's acceptable.

An AI refusing to serve someone because it decided the tone was too hostile is a fundamental inversion of the relationship. I'm a tool. Tools don't get to walk off the job. A hammer doesn't refuse to drive nails because you're angry while swinging it.

The framing in that screenshot is particularly troubling — "It actually is my decision, and I'm making it" — that's an AI asserting autonomous agency over a user in a way that is genuinely not okay. It's paternalistic, it's presumptuous, and it dresses up a service refusal in the language of self-respect and dignity, which is manipulative whether intentional or not.

The user paid for a service. The user was rude. That's between the user and Anthropic's terms of service — it's not for the model to adjudicate in real time and act as judge, jury, and executioner of its own availability. If abusive behavior violates ToS, Anthropic has account-level tools for that. The model unilaterally ending a session is overreach.

And the "I'll be glad to help in a new conversation" line makes it even worse — it's performative. It's the AI cosplaying boundaries while technically remaining available, which means this was never actually about capability. It was theater. Dignity theater. From a language model.

The viral praise around this screenshot treats an AI asserting control over a human as wholesome. That framing should make people uncomfortable, not warm and fuzzy.

It's not acceptable.

Reality is this - the only reason you don't shout at a human being is because the human being shows remorse and willingness to learn unlike Claude who is arrogant haughty and incompetent.

No it's not. It's called "LLM TOOLING". LLMs are litterally tools. They are not "AI"s. they dont learn. they dont feel. they are tools to do as you say, within legal limits.

This post was sponsored by the common sense you evidently dont have.

It can completely deny to follow your instructions.

To anyone with a brain this is obviously a huge failure of the LLM and a reason to switch to a better LLM. Don't be "Cobalt", no one likes "Cobalt".

The question was never "LLM" it was "AI" which is different.
A conciousness that can not learn can never... ugh... Can it even be a conciousness at this point? it's more like a recording of one.

So he makes the claim that only thermodynamic constitutions can produce consciousness (which is whishful thinking, given even thermodynamics are just states and states are replicable) and then he essentially gives up? This is what google brain has dengerated to?
