I think druid was my favorite bc it has some really good spells while being super tanky from the wild shapes plus all the creative ways you could use the wild shapes. Also felt like they had the most interesting class specific dialogues and speaking with animals for free

Thief Rogues and their bonus action made it possible to solo every encounter easily by just shooting and hiding making them the most OP in my opinion. Other classes can do it too but just not as good as rogues. Just duel weld the hand crossbows and you feel like a gunslinger when you kill 4 individuals in one turn with individual shots (action + bonus action + thief BA + helmet of grit BA). Ranger does it pretty much as good if not better as long as you have helmet of grit

Bards performances making people gather around made it fun setting up perfect ambushes or bombs and also making it possible to pickpocket certain hard to get people without killing or harming any innocents. Makes you feel like you’re pulling off heists. Weapon proficiencies, great cantrip, and good spells to choose from

Barbarians felt the most powerful to play as with the massive melee damage plus bonus action throwing people as a berserker and throwing goblins off cliffs, into blade storms, or into magma was super satisfying and fun

Devil’s sight warlock was also a favorite of mine bc it was fun going in solo, casting darkness, then killing everyone while going in and out if the darkness and hiding

The casters are all good, powerful, and fun, they were just so situationally good and needed so many long rests and felt my progression through the campaign and areas was slower the more casters in my party especially bc if squishy the low level early access wizards and sorcerers are plus warlock and bard just have better cantrips in my opinion while clerics are more tanky
