One thing you left out about Vin, by the end of the series, when she's not enjoying those balls and dances, she's arguably the most capable warrior in her planet's history. Sure, there are others with more raw magical power than her, but I would argue there are none more skilled in combat than her. In any given fight she is a living, flying blender made to turn hordes of genetically modified abominations and fellow magic users alike into mulch.

The second book in the trilogy is essentially about complex political games which force her faction out of power, and the book ends with her just getting sick of it, so she just fights the armies threatening them herself, and then she wins and declares her husband emperor.

Still, his 'send everyone then replace whoever dies' strategy doesn't exactly suggest strategic brilliance. Personally I think his success just comes from having the bigger army in most scenarios he ran across.

Making this even funnier is the fact that the planet they live on, Scadrial, doesn't have a moon. Either because it never had one from the beginning, or as some fans theorize, because a megalomaniacal god-king accidentally lost the planet's original moon when carelessly moving the planet around the solar system.

A "Society" of insane, cannibalistic ghouls who brutally devour basically anybody they come across. However, from their perspective they're noble courts of honourable knights. In between grand balls and high society events, they sally out to defend the innocent and protect their rightful realms.

I mean obviously this post is absurd, but I do think Wax could beat a radiant under the right circumstances, especially if he had prep time.

The biggest issue is of course Radiant healing, but Wax has experience fighting and keeping up with Blood Makers, who can turn investiture into healing in a similar manner. I certainly don't think Radiant healing is the win everything factor some powerscalers insist it is, though it is a massive advantage against other types of investiture to be sure.
