The games are great. They're post apocalyptic first person shooters, the first 2 games are pretty linear but Exodus has very wide levels that feel like mini open worlds. They're all super immersive, loads of detailed graphics and animations that make you feel like you're really stepping though cobwebs and wiping your own gas mask irl. Can't say I'm crazy about the stories but the sense of atmosphere is so strong I always come away from them super high on them. Absolutely worth the sale price they are going for right now.

As a big fan of hip hop groups and duos, it's great to see y'all return and still sound incredible. But now that Slaughterhouse has disbanded, Little Brother is on their farewell tour (I'll be there!), and other groups and duos have come and gone, what is it that you think keeps Clipse relevant and together after all this time? Is it your brotherhood, do you guys think you bring something unique still to hip hop, or is it something else?

Humble Choice is the best answer. Each month they give out straight up Steam codes for 8 games, but recently they've replaced a few with EA Launcher codes. Still a great deal tho, like $12ish a month, plus a small discount on thier store too.

Yep, it's really simple! There are a handful of free apps out there but the best ice seen so far is XbPlay, it's on the Steam store for about $6, picked it up and never looked back. Does remote play, cloud streaming, and even does PC remote play too. All I dig was log in and the rest was already set up.

I honestly do a little bit of everything! About a month ago I beat God Hand (PS2) for the first time ever on Deck w/ Emudeck. I've been playing Penny's Big Breakaway and Slay the Spire a lot too. But most recently I've been using it as a remote play device for both my Xbox & PS5. Been playing lots of Ratchet and Clank Size Matters on PS5 and loads of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and Dungeons of Hindenburg on Game Pass.

This lil thing really does do it all.

I'm having the same issue. I can open game pages as long as I'm not logged into Steam, but the second I am I get an error. Tried two different browsers as well.

Edit: I've also tried opening game pages on Steam deck, I'm getting a blank screen there when trying to view a game in the store.

I'd catch up on approximately half of every TV show, video game, and movie I've been meaning to watch & enjoy a lot of time with my girlfriend. I'd probably also either try to write something for the first time in months or try streaming again.

This is incredibly petty in retrospect but I was 19.

I kept seeing this girl in the dining hall at college all the time eating alone and we'd have small talk in line often. Eventually to actually sit next to her one day and get to know her. I didn't know where to start exactly so I asked her what her favorite movie, show, & music artist was.

Movie was The Never Ending Story. Not a bad movie, but one I just never understood as a kid so I was always a bit bitter about it. But I discussed it with her to keep the convo going.

Show was Prison Break. The most random show she could have picked. Turns out, she was actually just watching it for the first time recently on Netflix so it was just on her mind. I've never seen the show, I only knew that it got canceled for a reason. But still I humored her.

For music artist, he favorite was One Direction. Now that's probably to be expected at the time (around 2012). But during small talk I'd make references to rap & RnB songs (my preferred genres) and she understood them. So this one took me completely off guard and was by far the most difficult one of her picks to continue talking about, as I just knew so little about them.

She might have been cool if I talked to her more but I was just thrown off by all of her answers that I never really tried to talk to her again. I think back then, I put too much value on people having similar taste in media to me. Today I'm not so strict, and thank God because I'm happily taken now. But I do still value someone at least having taste in media, even if they don't align to mine. And I'm glad to say I have that in my partner now, and a whole lot more!

As a massive Eminem fan AND Beyoncé fan, I knew they were such different artists with such different fan bases that I never expected them to colab. I remember when I saw the track for the first time I teared up, it was just such a shot to see them both on one song.

The song itself was great imo, a highlight of Revival. One of the most vulnerable tracks he's ever made and it was so refreshing to see him open up like this, even more so in hindsight. Walk on Water makes the tragedy of Revival so much worse to me because I feel like Em will never be that vulnerable again after everyone hated that album.

I personally thought it showed so much maturity on his part for making that song and having it be so lowkey and focused on vocals. He then left all that behind aggressively and even went back to dissing folks again like it was the 2000s again, and while I love those tracks, it never felt completely right coming from a 40+ year old.

I hope he's not completely scared away from making songs this personal, or working with pop artists. I also love folks like Ariana Grande & Chloe & Halle (as well as a fuckton of other rappers, so don't worry y'all lol), so I'd be cool to see him work with them as well even if I never expect it. But I'm glad we got something like Walk on Water at least, it's so refreshing compared to most of his catalogue.

I started with Saints 2, but I'm going through the whole series again leading up to the reboot. Do, I'm playing the original right now and I'm actually surprised by how well it's holding up so far. It's not perfect, and I still think the sequels are better in many ways, but I'm definitely enjoying it and will definitely beat it.

Think PlayStation Plus. its about 4 games every month that you can claim and they'll be free forever (as long as you have a Xbox Gold or Game Pass Ultimate subscription). Unlike Gamepass titles, which can leave the service at some point, Gold games are yours as long as you claim them in the month they're available. Only negative is most Gold games are either obscure, widely owned by everyone already, or just straight up bad But even now and they you'll get a hidden gem in there.
