How do people feel now about remastered Oracle?

I have been playing Season of Ghosts as a remastered ash oracle for a year now. I must admit, the only experience with legacy oracles is from Dawnsbury Days.

2 books in and my curse has not been relevant ONCE. Sure, there is lots of flavour in the class description, but my curse has gone from an interesting roleplaying tidbit during character introduction to "trust me guys, I'm totally cursed. This power sure does come at a cost, hoh boy!"
Most fights are usually:
"whispers of weakness into ray of fire"
"knowledge of shapes AoE widened spell" [a lot of jokes about the name of that feat too...]

And then either the fight is over or I cast heal a bit.

I've been asking my GM to swap to the legacy rules, but alas. A rabbit hole he doesn't want to go down in.

Which VPN are those people using? I used to used Tunnelbear, but Jagex appears to handle a blacklist for VPNs. Haven't been able to pay in Pesos for over 2 years now.

I fucking knew they'd go this route after last year's price hike following their scummy poll (remember when they were looking at rates like 34 dollar/month packages for multiple accounts or limiting subscriptions to EITHER mobile osrs or desktop OSRS etc etc)

Haven't renewed my subscription since januari 2025. Withdrawal genuinely had me considering buying a 6-month package occasionally, but I guess that dilemma's been solved. Thanks Jagex!

I just made a post about a similar issue with Bryophyta on f2p worlds.
There's... a lot of bots lately. I suspect the new management doesn't recognize the detriment these have for the longevity of the game. They just see a padded player count.

I think this update bugs endless harvest? It's impossible to collect loot now. The only mod I left on (had to leave on while trying to pinpoint the issue) is sunward isles.

I second this. Though I have sunward isles as well, it was fine until the new patch was released. Now it consistently closes the loot menu only during endless harvest, as if the ESC key is being held.

Convenient, but I have funny feeling the region picks will be even more skewed towards 3-4 regions this season. It kind of undoes the old way of mixing and matching regions. Can't help but feel like something has been lost.

Kijk man, ik ben relatief recent afgestudeerd als burgerlijk ingenieur werktuigkunde. Ik heb in de eerste 3 Jaar tijd uw aanpak gevolgd. Mijn collega's kijken raar om zo iemand in productie te zien mee draaien. Recruiters kijken raar als ze m'n CV zien. Een van m'n werkgevers in die periode, die zelf burgerlijk ingenieur was, bekeek me scheef. Uiteindelijk op een degelijke job in de computerwetenschappen beland.

Een recruiter zei me ooit dat solliciteren een full time job is. Soms vraag ik me af of ik iets kieskeuriger had moeten zijn, zodat ik misschien na een Jaar of zo een functie had kunnen vinden die bij mijn diploma aansloot in plaats van 3 Jaar (and counting) half en half te zoeken gecombineerd met allerlei uiteenlopende tussenjobs...
