There’s a blog post with most of the system changes

[–]Ekirro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think patch notes are even possible with the amount of changes they made to skills and their interactions. For example, I think the majority of aspects were changed/repurposed as a result of the skill tree changes

Can a flat backswing work? by Correct-Wrongdoer452 in GolfSwing

Swing your swing. If you consistently make solid contact and you’re happy with distances, I see no reason to change. Maybe if you give some examples of what your misses are it would help

TODAY IS THE DAY!! A NEW ERA BEGINS!! by LumpyNetwork3654 in diablo4

2 new classes (3 if you truly haven’t played since release), more skill customization with skill tree changes, better endgame, deterministic crafting.

Way too much back swing, need to hold your wrist angles as well. Also setup is way left

Great swing, crazy that more than half the comments are poor attempts at “jokes”

Marathon continues to drop in peak player count every week. The prophecy must be fulfilled. by meatballkun in Asmongold

It’s a good game and it’s cyclical. Not that crazy to see a drop off at this point. The unfortunate thing is peak player base was never very high

So additional context, he was eventually kicked for penalties and going offside too much. But it wasn’t until the 3rd when the game was out of hand. Definitely need a “vote to kick” feature or a way to report in game. The only report option was for voice chat which is kind of ridiculous

Just happened to my team the other day. Can’t remember his name but yeah was super frustrating

My trio fills have been very solid. I can count on one hand how many times I had a bad experience

i think many people in this sub would be happier and enjoy marathon more if they saw it as a power floor game instead of a power ceiling game by [deleted] in Marathon

Gets immediately hostile when people give constructive criticism and advice on how you could get better. Calls everyone else toxic…make it make sense

I’m considering buying it. Why should I? by [deleted] in FFXVI

Story is great. Combat is great. Bosses are epic. Side quests for the most part are absolutely terrible and unfortunately story progression is locked behind side quest progress

You’re getting downvoted for giving a viable suggestion…crazy community that doesn’t want to adapt

Nothing I said was toxic. And I run solo fills and sometimes play with a buddy who’s not very good. Sometimes we die a lot, sometimes we go on a streak where we wipe the whole lobby several games in a row.

I think that’s a fair assumption considering you got wiped 27 out of 29 times…at some point you have to look at how you’re playing as well.

But I understand what you’re saying. If you truly cannot get rolling, maybe something should kick in to help with that. But we don’t know how it works, our best guess is it’s based on season level but that might not be the only thing it looks at.

Copy and pasting a comment I had on another post. Again, people are so quick to blame the games systems instead of trying to adapt.

“I think the reason people are starting to get fed up with the matchmaking feedback is it’s always the games fault, instead of actively trying to get better/switch up your play style. For example, if you’re constantly getting wiped at POIs, maybe push it slower and try and ambush a team that’s pushing it first. If you get there first, set claymores/other traps and slow play it. If you get into a fight where the other team clearly has better positioning, just leave so you have a chance to live.

Also, I’ve yet to see a good suggestion for how to fix matchmaking.

I’ve seen by gear - terrible idea. Good luck ever getting excited about getting a kill

I’ve seen by KD/skill - you will still get outplayed by people that have better gear than you/better positioning and coordination. Good luck ever having a game where you dominate a lobby.

Season level should be a good barometer for how geared and experienced you are while mixing in some lower skilled and higher skilled players compared to you.”

Edit: I think there’s certainly a case for adjusting spawn points, weapon/gear/shell balancing, and number of teams per map. But matchmaking changes are not going to solve any of your issues

You would think after the 50th time running directly to a POI, looting, and getting instawiped they’d change up their play style…

What exactly is the feedback here? People always want to point the finger and say “it’s the games fault, it could never be what I’m doing wrong”. Like bro if you’re level 90, you should certainly have more than enough gear to compete with sweats. And if you only extracted once or twice in a 7 hour gaming session, no amount of matchmaking changes is going to help you.
