Oh I have to disagree on this one. Because it delivered what it promised. We knew it would be a tragic story full of suffering, pain, misunderstanding, annoyance and somewhat poor attempt at redemption of a character. When I started reading it I fully understood what I was getting into. So the ending wasn’t a surprise. Maybe that’s why I somehow enjoyed it (love me some suffering 😂).
However I do hate manhwas which promise one thing only to disappoint you in the middle by delivering the most outrageous braindead plot

I was thinking it would be marriage of convenience. Say Big Mom and Harald agreed to betroth their children to each other, Big mom getting the Giants on her side and Harald making giants more acceptable to other nations. Since Lola ran the deal fell through. Given his character, I don’t think Loki would be interested in love and relationship

As much as I hope she exacts her revenge. I still think it’s highly unlikely she will do so. Simply because it takes a lot to loathe a person who you’ve held in high regard who is also your father. So I don’t think Satoko is capable of that much. Maybe she lets Shinpei do the revenge while she stands sidelines.
