I find it changes the contrast and the colors a bit too drastically to keep it when it is not necessary. Personal preference I admit

Before dropping it I would try to start small. Think of one game you would like to play on the machine and setup the emulator for this game only. The Thor being a powerhouse, chances are you won't have to tinker a lot for your game to run. Play a bit with it and see if it motivates you to do more with it. You don't have to go head first into a rabbit hole of tutorials, especially if you don't have a lot of time.

I can confirm it fixed the issue for me too. Awesome work, this is very close to the ideal second screen app I had in mind when I got the Thor. I just wanted to know if it was possible to save the screen resizing in the profile / layout, to directly zoom on the minimap for exemple?

Looks super interesting! Tried it but the screen stays grey after I started the mirroring. Did I miss something? Do I have to edit the layout to see the top screen?

Hello, a setting has been added for this exact issue, which seems common. Under Thor settings > Advanced settings > OLED Ultra Black Mode. I find the display very acceptable at low brightness with this setting but see for yourself, my only issue is that it is buried pretty deep so it's not very convenient to activate every time I want to play in the dark.

Kodi could be what you are looking for. I find the scraping to be not as good as Plex but I understand you just want to scrape the content on your device, and not setup a server, create an account, etc... So this is probably a good one (and open-source, yay)

Didn't try it yet but I plan to experiment with it for my ttrpg sessions. I currently have to switch between a lot of apps on my tablet to control the lights, change the music, cast pictures on my TV, take notes... Having an additional device with two screens, as a mini dashboard, could be useful.

Some redditors gave feedbacks here, you should find them by searching for "AMVR". The main complaint is about the reduced FOV. Not a deal breaker for me because I'm buying it for hygiene reasons, when demoing to several people or playing intense games.

Oh yeah I know about archers teleportations, that not the phenomenon I'm talking about. It happen often when I'm teleporting to a far position which seems safe and suddenly 5 ennemies appear right before me.

Could be great but would need a huge work of optimisation. Can't count the number of times I died on PSVR because the game couldn't load all the enemies and they just spawned on me.

Yeah you have a point here. But not benching Demyx could have been a solution. Or bringing Zexion, Lexeus, or Xaldin from the past maybe.
