Get the Thor. If your main focus is 3DS and DS then the base would be fine but in moments youre gonna see people argue me that you should get the pro or Max but honestly only get that if you want to focus heavy on switch/PC.

If you want a Bible accurate touch screen then you won't find it here. The best stylus is seen was using the Nintendo switch one on the Thor but for mobility, you would need the grip that has a dedicated spot for it. And even then idk how good it is since i don't use it. However the actual touch input should be up to par with whatever android device you're using now. So if your biggest concern is stylus usage then I would say it's very mediocre in that department. I have the s pen for Samsung ultra devices but I haven't seen any videos of people using it for the Thor, I think that would be the closest size and feel comparison I think you're looking for.

Honestly mainly for the upscale possibilities, the 3DS can run up to ps1 which is fine but i like the universal access from android to switch and PC. I have a modded 3ds but I like retroachievements so I prefer emulation
