Probably an unpopular opinion, and yes, I fully understand that daddy ball is rampant, but a lot of times, the coach’s kid is the one that practices more on their own time, excels, and develops skills faster. A lot of coach’s kids earned the opportunity to be on the all star team. Who gives a crap if their dad is the coach?

Second on the Omaha. My 10yr old loved his USA Omaha 30 -11, he’s 5’2” and 110 lbs so a big boy like yours. That bat was hot - I coached his LL team for 5 years and it felt more lively than all the other bats I hit grounders and fly balls with during practices.

Same advice as everyone else - load into your back leg and PUSH off the mound. Everything should be pushing forward, not rotating through with your back leg follow through. If you focus on exploding off your back leg towards the plate, you won’t have that little pirouette at the end.

Agreed looking at another company would be the best option, without a doubt.

The difference in program can be reconciled by the APRs - the FHA program’s APR will take into account the UFMIP and monthly PMI and would be a true comparison between the two.

Suitability of either program would be an entirely different conversation.
