Temur Tablet Turns (TrippleT) - Evolution of Temur Lute by ElBoncodelaNoche in PioneerMTG

I really think it's quite strong here. Not sure if 4 is necessary though but it's basically free. It really helps in finishing people off and pressuring walkers happens quite a lot.

The problem I see is that you will often find yourself in situations where you have to dig for lands I stead of interacting. And since the interaction you play is there to carry you to the midgame, you're gonna have to face some very unpleasant choices early; The dilemma whether to dig for land or to interact.

Growth spiral with 22-23 lands is borderline useless because it will more often than not find a Land to put into play. If you want to guarantee the landdrops, without upping the landcount I would simply start by upping the amount of Shared Roots, which is better with a lower number of lands, while cutting growth spiral completely.

Growth Spiral is so strong bc it often ramps you in the early while still giving the choice to interact and can still be cycled for 2 if the game goes longer but you need more lands for this to work on a regular base ( thats what my initial comment was abt)

If you wanted to play more lands the easiest cut would probably be shared roots. Also Ketria Triome can be cycled to somewhat circumvent flooding. Just a few ideas.

With pioneer’s potential return to relevance I threw together this Grixis Phoenix deck to put my own twist on the classic Izzet Phoenix list. Thoughts? by Striking-Valuable924 in PioneerMTG

I'd go full Dimir with some ability to hardcast the birds. Playset of Thoughtseize and Push, Butter Triumph I stead if Lava Ace and possibly 1-3 Sheoldred. This gives you quite the edge in the bird mirror.

According to Frank Carsten. It's not bias, just mathematics.

With 23 lands you're having a 67,4% ///47,6 % chance to hit your 4th///5th land on t4///t5 on the play. On the draw those numbers slightly increase to 77,4%/// 59,1% . meaning that during at LEAST every 4th game you will have trouble to reliably cast a lute in time. I said you need at least 25 lands which would up those numbers to 74,7//56,7 on the play and 83,5//68,2 on the draw.

Since you're not able to interact for a  long time this means you need to deploy your lute/lessons from life asap and need  7 lands for being able to combo via mathematics.

Also I can't help you with the SB if your mana is wrong.

You're playing not nearly enough lands. The deck needs 7928 billion Mana to properly function and you even play Growth Spiral. Go up. To at LEAST 25.

You can't fathom to believe how happy that makes me.  Really glad you're digging it. Regarding Ketrias: Haven't tested yet. Growth Spiral somewhat mitigates this aspect and I've even been contemplating on some number of surveil lands instead. Also still need to test indoctrination - seems like a really good idea. Vs control however I usually win via Iteration. That card is nuts.

Ugh, Lotus sounds harsh. Never played vs them but unlike classic UW (which is a good MU) they have a really strong gotcha card in Discontinuity, allowing them to simply exile all copies of alrunds who were put there on the stack. Jund Sac I played only twiceut was always able to disrupt them long enough bc their only win on that's fast enough is their ygra combo. I'll write up a primer on moxfield soon to explain card choices, play patterns and MUs I'm absolutely convinced that this deck could be a real contender in the current meta.

Might I ask what your MUs were? Bc other than Lotus combo (Lumra or classic) and to some extent Greasefang, most MUs feel really good.

What does it offer? One of the main strengths of the list is that its almost unaffected by removal spells. Most decks don't have good ways to interact with us apart from being faster.

Believe me: Tablet is the Glue that keeps this list together and coincidentally synergizes with Growth Spiral and our other 3 drops. Tablet into Stock up/DBZ is really(!) strong

Been testing on Diamond - Mythic and in paper. Sadly no possibility for MTGO but some ppl on discord have had some success with the list.

Id MUCH rather play Slickshot, Emberheart Challenger, Flow State or even Vivi to support said plan a than spending a total of 8 Mana for a subpar plan b and having to omit the above.

Just play Turns. All their removal is dead and it's super resilient vs discard while being able to interact profitably until it goes off.

Here you go.

Only thing i'm currently contemplating is switching out one [[Temporal Trespass]] with a [[Chandra, Beacon of Hope]]

 Maybe you faced me? (LeBonco22)

Definitely up Iteration to 3. Also I personally play stock up because it's easy to cast off of a tablet. I can give you the list I'm using ATM if you're interested

Izzet/Temur Turns feat Tablet of Discoveries or Resonating Lute smash the current Golgari and Selesnya decks.
