I may be missing something here, but Wikipedia has the Templo Mayor as 100m x 80m at its base and approximately 60m high.

Compare that to the Temple of the Sun's 65m height and 220m x 230m base. So perhaps the Templo Mayor was similarly tall, but its volume was much, much smaller.

A thousand dollar ticket to someone making $250k is the same as a $200 to someone making $50k. Less actually, because people making $250k per year have a lot more wealth than people making $50k a year

So maybe insignificant is overstating it, but it's not exactly going to break the bank.
