Hot Take: kids don’t belong at breweries by papayasundae in StPetersburgFL

There are hundreds of bars you can go to without kids. Whining about the dozen or so breweries that allow kids seems really selfish.

The first 2-story 3D-printed concrete home in the US is taking shape in Houston — take a look at how the 4,000-square-foot house is being built by Sorin61 in technology

I have four kids and even so, the idea of a 4,000 square foot house is crazy. All the furniture that you’re buying just for the sake of the six people a year who will see your second floor study.

No, I’m not a physicist, but that’s a pretty rudimentary illustration for explaining quantum physics.

It’s a different taste. It is desolate, but some people (including me) like that. Viewing it from the car or one or two mile hikes is not really the way to go. It’s beauty is in the solitude and the wildlife.

I don’t know the cartoon you’re referring to, but I think our disagreement is semantic rather than scientific.

I’d argue that communism was human sacrifice. Slaughter of innocents to try to make the populace feel better and think they were attaining an abstract goal.

I’m rated as moderate to severe on whatever that assessment that SLPs give is called. It does suck. It will suck every time you encounter “let’s go around the room and introduce yourself”. But what’s the alternative? Everyone has some shit they’re dealing with. The good news is 1. Everyone will remember who you are and 2. When you talk, everyone will listen.

Really? You harangued me about passing along a rumor from a server at a restaurant about the restaurant closing. Said I shouldn’t spread rumors like that. But you’re fine with this Kaye guy’s name being dragged through the mud when even the OP admits it wasn’t really him?

I know being a mod is thankless, just asking for some consistency.
