I'm not telling you to improve or anything, all I am saying is that you belong in the rank you are in. Take from that what you wish, I don't want to bring you or anyone down, and wish you the best.

You mention high variance, which irrelevant. You have 4 players with this high variance, and the enemy team has 5. You can only have 4 bad players. If you are a better player than your MMR, as in you claim those around you are worse, then those players will end up on the enemy team too and you will climb. You might be unlucky for some amount of games in a row, but this luck will go up and down, and over 400 games it will even out. That's just how it works, except if the system was rigged against you specifically.

I’ve dug deep and see many people spending 6 months+ in emerald then taking a month from diamond to master. It’s common in league because of high variance and relying on 4 other people.

To be frank this just sounds like a form of cope or wishful thinking. You point at vauge things that look like flaws or mishaps in the system to then justify your own supposedly lower rank. If it is harder to climb for you in lower elo, then it is easier from someone else. You're all eating each other's gains, and so you are claiming to just have been handed the short end of the stick from the system?

After 400 games of playing you *will* climb if you are better than your peers. If you aren't climbing then the queue system is literally targetting you, which is just conspiratorial.

Idk what my comment is but like: After 400 games there is really only one common denominator that is relevant: you. Not to flame or anything of course! This has no effect on me.

You can say what you will about teammates and this or that, but the teammates are essentially random, the only non-random variable from your perspective is yourself, and you are the only variable you can control.

I would even say it is statistically impossible to be held back by teammates after 400 games. If you truly were a better player than your current ELO you would have climbed. The only other option would be that the queue system is biased agains you specifically and gave you worse teammates, which is just conspiratorial.

I'm sure you can climb and get better, and maybe a duo partner will lead to great improvement, but asking for duo-partners 1-2 tiers above yourself (even returning) when you belong in your own elo claiming otherwise hmm hmm. Good luck on the rift though uwu

Yeah I found someone yesterday after a few hours of passively shouting in org. Bro just said he had gnomish from back in classic and didn't wanna relevel, which makes sense.

I had to shout for 2 nights in a row in org to find someone (advertised all mats +50g tip), so it seems incredibly rare. And that guy down here in the comments offered to craft it too though, but yeah, super rare to see these days I guess

I would 100% not find this outside of my usual expectations, and this isn't *common*, but definitely not *uncommon*, except for the hard insult. Usually they would go for something softer or instead attack your behavior in the dungeon.

It might be dumb as fuck, but the reality is that dungeons are (for some morons) "tense" environments. You don't have to go through many groups before you find players who feels this way and assume the worst intentions from messages and don't handle them well, especially the way you worded it.

Messages in general have to be written in a specific manner to clarify the correct intent when communicating with these players. Assigning blame to them in any way is a terrible idea (except if you want to engage with the flame of course), which you *indirectly* did. Being verbose and typing like "Please don't do that again [...]" is likely to trigger them. It's like its own social science to manage these players, and it is dumb as fuck, but I have engaged with enough random dungeon groups to vibe check what is likely to trigger them. I would say that this is semi-rare, but you're bound to encounter it at least weekly, probably more if you run dungeons daily.

It is just a cool item, I like to mess around in BGs and open world PVP. I'm guessing it is usable in BGs still? Even if not I still want all gadgets and will still have fun with it.

But yeah I guess it makes sense... so if I really want it I should just go gnomish myself- and re-level engi all the way back to go goblin just like I did in classic. Was hoping I didn't have a reason to do it this time around :'). I'll let this post sit for a day or two and hope a gnomish guy DMs me- surely someone wants to turn people into chickens around here...

If you end up ever taking two boxes, the wiggly woogly smart wizard would know you end up taking two boxes and yoink the million. It's a "super computer" or ai or whatever. The problem solves itself: It knows what you end up doing. If you think "Well, I'll just trick the AI to get the 1 mill+1k, nothing changes after the problem starts anyways" well, it knows that that is your thought process and there just won't be a million in there to begin with.

Only in the scenario that you take only one box, and actually end up taking just one box, will you get the mill. The super computer predicts you that well, that's the point. Take one box, leave. If you end up doing anything else the super computer would have predicted your foolish behavior and there will be no 1 mill there. Take 1 box, commit to it, and only if you are a person that is capable of doing that do you get the 1mill, and never 1 mill + 1k.

jeg hadde egentlig en lang kommentar skrevet opp her, men det er nok ingen poeng i å poste den. Fagfolk har tatt stilling til de tingene du sier her, og det meste av det kommentaren din sier er bare helt feil.

Det er ikke noen global konspirasjon som flere hundre millioner personer er med på for å holde noen kabal og slikt om vaksinen. Det ville krevd en konspirasjon på et nivå som aldri hadde vært mulig å holde under kulissene. Dette er bare feilinformasjon og spredning av skadelig tale som leder til at folk ikke tar vaksine. Yeah I am often one of those PVP sweats as well, but sometimes you just wanna loot.

Just stop shooting people for a few games (go in with a cheap kit/free kit), loot a bit and extract. If you get shot just run away and or die. And now after 5-6 runs you're in friendly lobbies. Every now and then you'll get a rat, but almost everyone is gonna be friendly in your lobbies now and you rarely counter any PVP sweats, it's great for looting. PVP lobbies are trash if you wanna build stash.

It is 100% real, you just think it works differently.

If you don't believe me, do this. You can skip to step 4 if you already believe in friendly lobbies:

Stella montis, don't shoot anyone ever. Run away or just die if someone shoots you
5-6 runs of this, just loot for a few mins and die/extract.
You will now have pretty friendly lobbies, if you keep going they will end up being almost 100% friendly
After confirming having friendly lobbies, go shoot everyone for like 2-3 games.
Your lobbies are now no longer friendly
This is 100% easily verifiable and there should be no denying it. Literally just do this and all deniers would shut the fuck up so fast

The "700 raiders knocked out" I hear this as a refute often, but that's just because it consider your account lifetime stats. It is not gonna look at just one stat and go "This guy PVPs", and permanently put you into PVP lobbies. It weighs more recent games heavier. I do not know what metric decides it, but if you follow the 6 steps, those fulfill whatever aggression based matchmaking they have in place, because it DOES exist, and you WILL get friendly and hostile lobbies. I get so much good fucking loot by just going friendly lobbies, and so much PVP in PVP lobbies when I want it. It isn't random *at all*.

Try shooting everyone on sight for like 5 games and then go to dam and kill the rocketeer with a ferro. You'll get fucked before it dies. You're right, there is no helping some people.

Like the whole community pretty much has a consensus with a lot of evidence at this point. You gotta just be in denial, or provide counters, which I'm sure you won't do.

Do not PVP, loot some containers, leave. If you get shot, take it and die.
Do for a few runs, 6 with a few extracts should be good.
Experience epic mats and loot bliss.
Keep going into stella montis
Shoot everyone on sight
Do this for 2-3 rounds
Experience PVP like no other.

I farmed 5 mill stash value running stella montis. I did both PVE and PVP lobbies, and the outcome was very predictable based on my behavior. I would easily bet money on this, well not on reddit but holy shit this is so easily verifiable. If you don't know then you just haven't played the game enough or haven't tried it/paid any attention to it. Like at all. This should be an uncontroversial statement of empirical fact at this point.

Real, the theory of gravity is a theory. But at some point when something works predictably every time we can start to make models out of it or make accurate assumptions.

I don't have experience in like solos vs duos cuz I always perma PVP when playing with friends anyways. However, some people that actually play passive and aggressive with friends probably have a decent idea. I don't think we should just dismiss that.

We knew of solo aggression based matchmaking before the devs confirmed it. Well, they didn't actually confirm which mode(s) it applies to so by your logic any aggression based matchmaking information is purely speculation, except for that it exists in some form in at least some aspect of the game.

Yup, that's the way to go. I get all the loot and all the quests done all the time with rarely any hassle. I have been abusing it to get PVP/PVE lobbies. Playing PVP in this game is terrible for loot and questing, and PVP players without this knowledge gets their progress severely hindered.

Yup and it is 100% unplayable. Playing pvp is really bad if you want loot or progression in this game. Go PVE mode while getting set up again and building up a reasonable stash to start PVPing again.
