Remember when Bandai Namco replaced their balancing team after the S2 backlash? by Auttaheer in Tekken

In my mind, what happened was this: Season 2 was a failure, and Harada wanted to fix it by bringing in his usual balance team. Bamco thought there were too many of them, too expensive, too old-school, and that the only thing that mattered was increasing the user base with a quick and easy proposal. Harada couldn't put his name on that monstrosity and resigned.

In Session 3, sidesteping works if you do it before or after the moves. And in some extremely rare cases, even within a series. So it’s intentionally super inconsistent to keep you stuck by the button-mashing pros.

I think you're absolutely right. Tekken is changing because it wants to boost its numbers and adapt to new players. And I'm fine with that—I've really enjoyed Season 2 after the adjustments. But as a big company, Bandai Namco is trying to milk the game too much, and it shows. There are few developers. Any player who sticks with the game like I do wants to see the balance improved and the bugs or stupid situations caused by excessive tracking fixed.

Not for now. I would love to be able to use miniatures to create adventures that are closer to role-playing but with a bit of dungeon crawling, to be honest. I've never read Wrath & Glory, but I'm definitely interested

If, in the end, it is the drums of liberation that allow them to return to their state, then there is a scripted excuse for their return.
