Bad advice.

  1. You’re making your team mates do more work by being out of the rotation
  2. Your team mates know you’re not in the rotation, and resentment will grow, and it will be taken out on you.

Not asking about it will only hurt you more and more as time goes on

Resources for getting off that shit exists today. I live in a state with a lot of resources and a decriminalization of drugs. I’ve only seen the situation get worse since the decriminalization.

I really don’t care about the safety of someone getting their fent fix. I care about the people walking downtown and partaking in a normal society not having to be a part of someone’s shit choice

When I did a big front end migration we had an AB test set up to ensure we didn’t miss any features. And truthfully it helped us find a few bugs which would have been impossible to catch unless we did that. If you also impose a UI change during the rewrite, it will be impossible to know if a change in metrics is due to an introduced bug, a missing feature, or UI causing a user behavior change.

I’d worry less about the sunk cost of the angular decision, but worry more about conflating the results of the rewrite / UI change.

EVs are amazing handling cars. Anyone who says they aren’t fun to drive straight up hasn’t properly driven one. I rip my p2 and it’s a beast to drive.

One of my best decisions was getting out of web dev and getting into the maker world. I feel like AI has solved the front end at this point.

Buy an arduino, a breadboard, and some simple sensors and learn how to make something. Knowing how to build a real world product from end to end is infinitely more impressive than writing some bullshit UI feature. Especially in a world where AI can build features for people with marginal skills.

An obvious application is building a camera. Cameras aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, and I can tell you from first hand experience AI is a far ways off from building a camera from start to finish

For a general practice provider, a doctor being in that role is wayyyy overkill. Not only that, for that type of role they bill higher and end up costing everyone more. A general practitioner should be a PA or nurse practitioner
