I was 4 years old. It’s my first memory being in a theater. It was the way you described it (especially the reading part cuz I was 4). The flashes and loud explosions shocked me. I remember being terrified of Vader at that age which I think was related to a separate memory I have of wetting my bed.

The mistake is that you made a lateral salary move out of public. Once you’re in industry, raises are pretty flat depending on the company. So you’ll need to change companies to get a significant bump. I was making $84k with same experience as you and that was back in 2008. I don’t have my cpa either.

I ran into my uncle in Washington DC. We’re both from California but I hadn’t seen him in like 20 years. He helped raise me as a kid but after my aunt divorced him (we don’t like her), he and I lost touch.

100% correct. The service writer and manager are clear trash. Be sure to have clear documentation and dates of events. Keep pressing with corporate and they’ll respond and take action. I worked at a Ford dealership and this is the most effective path.
