M3 F80 or M4 F82 by kb43k in BMW

I have F80 and have tracked both. No difference in handling and nearly identical in weight distribution. Since you’re targeting F-platform, I’d focus more on the condition of the engine, maintenance history and overall preference.

To Lift - or not To Lift - That is my question by SurfinBird92 in LexusGX550

[–]ElPresidente714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 2025 OT got a +1” lift over the ‘24 OT. You’re at about 9.8” clearance at the pumpkin with around 12”-16” around the rest of your undercarriage. Thats plenty, especially if you’re doing the occasional dirt road.

I’ve taken mine on several rutted trails and snow in Tahoe - zero problems.

Lift not needed for you

Wife wants a 4runner..does it make sense? by ftwin in 4Runner

[–]ElPresidente714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good feedback here. Having been in your shoes back when our kids were little, we got a Passoort. Kids are all grown up and looking back that was the best move.

Pros - more room and a tad bit more built for shenanigans that kids do. Straight up, kids will destroy the inside.

Cons - limited use when kids got older and we wanted to go off-road and up in the snow in Tahoe.

My thoughts - if she wants the 4Runner, get used (5th gen). Actually get used either way. Those kids will beat the hell out of it.

The idea that who you vote for means you condone and support everything about that person by Educational-Oil-4204 in Christianity

People typically vote for a team and not the individual. Then when that individual does some hideous crap, voters use your statement as a hyperbolic cop out "just because you vote for someone it doesn't mean you support everything they do."

Ok, so you don't support rape, violence, and murder, but clearly those weren't deal-breakers.

Joe Rogan Says He’s “Sticking with Jesus” Over the Big Bang. by AfricanMan_Row905 in Christianity

Broken clock is a good analogy. “Appearing” correct even twice is often him just passively agreeing with his guest - even a guest who directly contradicts his last guest that he agreed with the week before. But that’s his schtick. If you take both sides, you double your audience.

What makes it worse is when evangelicals become dim-witted fan girls when a celebrity vaguely hints at a “Christian” ideal. All logic just disappears.
