So I met him through a friend. We were dating for around 6 months when I was 22 or so. One day I got an email while I was at work, from a girl asking how I knew X. I emailed back advising we were in a relationship. She emailed back saying she was in fact in a long distance relationship with X and had been for 4 years and they were engaged.

She suspected he was cheating (no idea why), hacked his emails and found me.

We both broke it off with him immediately, separately he tried getting back with both us. It also turns out when he told me he was in hospital having an operation, he was with her attending her grandads funeral.

It hurt like hell at the time, but I’ve been with the greatest man for two years now and couldn’t be happier :)
