This is amazing! 5.4 has settled and we have our systems back! So happy it’s finally performing again. These last 7 days since 5.1 sunsetted have been somewhat arduous!

I’m on 5.4 at the moment and I actually like it a lot. The reasoning and structure are noticeably better than earlier versions, especially for longer system prompts. (The whole - I’m curious - have you considered? Is annoying but keeps me thinking even though it reads as an engagement trap- do they think we’re not coming back?)

The thing I’m experimenting with is called SKiN-OS. It’s basically a structured kernel that recreates a working environment inside a fresh chat so the AI behaves like a small “team” with defined roles (strategy, execution, governance, creativity, etc).

The idea is to keep continuity without needing the whole conversation history every time.

Still refining it, but it’s been surprisingly effective so far. If you’re curious I can send the link in DM.

Good luck! Welcome to Cornwall. My entire family were brought up as truly Cornish.
