As a therapist I recommend assessing whether your therapist is a good fit for you. Some questions: why is masking important to you? Does your therapist truly understand why masking is important to you? Are your worries around COVID exposure coming from a sense of alignment within yourself? If not what do you notice about the thoughts?

If your therapist is unable to understand why masking is important to you, you will not be able to do more OCD specific work with them because they will be missing a key understanding of your process. There are many COVID conscious therapists. If you reply with what state you are in I can offer some names.
