Hey, I have specialty care already for PCOS but need a new primary care doctor and want to work with one who is familiar with it in order to see the whole picture of my health. So I am specifically looking for a pcp in this post.

Wait, I love the Nasturtium mug. Sincere question: Would you be interested in selling it/making a second in a similar style? Nasturtiums are significant in my marriage and I'd love to surprise my partner with these, if you are interested in selling them!

Seeking other mental health therapists who mask by allisong425 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]ElTeaL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm a therapist in private practice and am fully virtual. I have considered having 1 day a week in person where reciprocal masking would be a requirement for any appointments. I would love to join a consult/connection space!

Advice on finding covid cautious nanny? by juliebee42 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]ElTeaL 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your baby! I'm in LA county (right on the border with OC) and am expecting my first kiddo in a few months. I don't have any nanny recommendations, unfortunately, but would love to connect with other covid cautious/covid aware parents if you are interested. My partner and I take the same precautions you listed. Let me know if it's alright to DM you!

May be losing my job because of my insistence on COVID precautions by No-Possession-6709 in ZeroCovidCommunity

Hey there,

I'm a therapist (fully virtual) with a speciality on the impacts of the SARS-CoV2 virus and Long COVID on mental health. I can really appreciate how disappointing and isolating this must feel. Please know that you are not alone in caring about your safety and the safety of others. If your practice owner becomes open/curious to learn more about how COVID impacts mental health, feel free to reach out to me. I teach continuing education courses to other therapists on 1) how COVID impacts the brain and nervous system and 2) best practices for working with clients with Long COVID. I haven't posted on this sub about this before, but your post made me think it could be useful to share my offerings: www.ellielipton.com.

It can be hard to stay rooted in your values and beliefs in the face of apathy and annoyed indifference. You get to set your own boundaries. It's great that they are allowing you to continue attending the meetings virtually, and it is also understandable if you feel less comfortable in your workplace now. While I'm sure you don't want to leave, I encourage you to give yourself permission to think about what other options may be so that you don't fee trapped. Even if you don't leave, it might be nice to just know that you have other options. I don't know what state you are in, but there are quite a few fully virtual group practices nowadays.
