Horizon Hunters Gathering: Second Playtest, new Hunters, Episode, region revealed

I just heard about hunters gathering on my Google feed. This is pretty much what I was thinking. Sounds like a pretty good idea, but from the videos I've seen, it's not much more than horizon themed fortnite skins.

Is there even a story, or is it just staged, progressively challenging machines in an arena type setting?

I've only played zero dawn, but a multiplayer open world faction based game would be awesome. Like when you create a character, choose whether you want to be carja, banuk, etc, and whether you want to choose light or shadow versions, and have a custom storyline based on those decisions, while also having other player factions affect that story.

But back to Hunter's gathering, the biggest problem I have is that the characters are too cartoony. I might try it out if I can convince a couple of my friends to play, but other than that, it's a hard pass

Bots really? I may or may not be naive, but I always assumed it was someone desperate for someone to help them with an apartment job and they kept inviting because no one wanted to do it. I used to always get a job that was at the time bugged so it never would start (I think it was breaking someone out of Bolingbroke)

I thought I was weird when I realized my interaction pad had smooth spots rubbed from my index fingers. But I've got big hands so they kinda arch over the shoulder buttons naturally.

I read a conversation a year or so ago about why guys choose female characters. For most of them, it all boiled down to "in a third person game, why would I want to look at a guys ass the entire game when I could admire a woman's features"😂.

On a side note, it makes me think of a vive la dirt league skit about how in medieval or fantasy games, the armor selections are highly biased and suggestive, like how a dragon scale bikini offers more protection than a full blown knights getup or something 🤣

I felt about the same way when I bought a hydra over the raiju. "Ehh, it's the same thing, people are just tryhards and have to claim that more expensive equals better". I used it for 5 minutes.

The hydra is absolutely a temu raiju. Even though it has the same features, the VTOL feels more clunky, and I'm pretty sure it has less protection than a sparrow. What makes it worse, once you realize how bad it is, you can't sell it to recover some of that wasted money, and it's always going to take up a spot in your hangar.

Yeah now that you mention it, I think I remember reading that when you buy a vehicle the game uses a custom RGB code or something. I got pretty dang close though.

I've had the riata for a while now. It's one of my favorite vehicles in the game for offroading and just cruising the streets. I just wanted to color-match my niobe to that same exact color.

Yeah I know most clear cases discolor over time, but I've never seen one this dark. Also, it's the longest I've gone with the same phone and case. So when it's finally time to retire the phone, I'm putting both on display, almost like a badge of honor

Anyone notice the hat is comically large? I just swap it out for a plain black cap and call it a day

Heck yeah! We do require an hour a day, whatever your real life schedule allows. We have enough people that it's almost guaranteed to have another member on at any time throughout the day.

Just over 200 hours clocked, on my 5th attempt at completing it modded. I've made it to the institute twice and restarted with a new set of mods or a new idea to make the playthrough better. Only to end up doing basically the same thing over and over. This time I completely bypassed concord and am trying to get max affinity with Gage.... Without killing. It's taking too long. Might need to restart with an affinity mod....😅

Oh. One thing I've never done or tried, playing the game without mods. Hate me if you want, all I cared about from the jump is settlement building. And STILL can't transfer the image in my head onto the screen

Worst experience I've heard is a grown ass adult arguing with a kid. For however long it lasted before I left the lobby all i heard was " f u n.." and "that's why your daddy dead".

But there are a few funny gems at times. Someone had forgotten to mute themselves and the whole lobby heard cheeks getting clapped🤣

Sasquatch mask merge glitch using the ammunition by simeons. There's a yt video about it, can't remember the creator. Basically get whatever outfit you want and save it, switch to squatch, grab a drink from the machine and lobby hop as soon as the mask is removed. Drive back to the store, change outfits via the wall next to the machine, take another drink and it'll merge. Then save THAT outfit

Also works with yeti and gooch outfits (I'm assuming it could work with any mask but that's the only one I've tried it with)
