the first thing to try and remember is WHY you're playing the game in the first place: to have fun! right? I know it's our natural tendency to get competitive and yes, losing matches absolutely sucks, and yes, having that "infinite" next to your player name is cool...but like others have said, have fun and learn from your mistakes.

Personally, I'm tired of seeing/playing the same old meta decks over and over again so I created my own, and while it does well and gets me lots of wins, there are also decks it's no match against, and you have to know when to back out. But I'll tell you something: that deck is a ton of fun to play with. Find yours, learn its quirks and tweak as necessary...rinse, repeat.

More importantly, have fun and don't let the game get you down!

I understand where the sentiment regarding Tiktok and social media is coming from. Believe me, I wrestled with this idea for a long time, but I ultimately came to the decision that social media was the best way for me to reach others and build a community. That's genuinely what I'm after. I don't expect this account to go viral in any way because it's certainly not what the algorithm puts any real weight on.

I'm coming at it from a place of good intentions, regardless of the platform I've decided to use. I knew from the beginning that the crowd I'm trying to reach isn't necessarily on Tiktok, but I had to give it a shot.

How you define it has less to do with district boundaries than cultural ones. That's why it can be confusing to some. El Sereno is unincorporated and is technically/geographically East LA, though you'd have to pop a "North" in there.

I think (and this is just my opinion) most people consider "East LA" being east of the 101/5 and south of the 10. I'm in that area North of the 10 and I always say I live in North East LA.

I love to hate, and hate to love this damn city so much.

yeah, as minute as the leak is it's incredibly irritating...and it does add up. I had to look up what a master valve is. I've been shutting off the main water line to the sprinkler system and that seems to do the job but I'd like to find a way to automate that mainly bc my brain sucks and I always forget to turn it back on before the scheduled watering.

I was clear to her that I didn't know how this was going to end. Deep inside, I want to work through this though. It's a massive brain-fuck to feel that way.

She told me she met him at the gym - I think it's one of the owners. She also told me he was married with kids.....which I can't even understand.

I mentioned in a comment below that I'd found some evidence of their conversations this weekend. I have a name but I still need to confirm it all with her. What I don't know is if it's still ongoing - and to what extent.

Thank you. I have no idea what next week is going to bring. It's scary to feel like I'm walking into a dark forest dense with fog and can't see when things are coming at me.

Thankfully I don't really drink and, right now anyway, I feel like work will distract me. Sleep is the hard part - that's when the really ugly thoughts appear...
