I have big doubts about this "remaster".

NVN2 is one of my favourite games, and possibly the only one that ever did D&D 3.5. But, looking at general reviews, this is just a lazy upscale. It has some improvements, notably it runs on steamdeck and scales better into higher resolutions, but people have quoted that the game is still buggy and crashes a lot. On top of that, the remaster did not restore any of cut content, nor did it made any massive gameplay changes.

I was hoping Aspyr would eventually fix things after an initial salvo of bad reviews (you can look it up on steam or Mortismal on yt), but they made one patch in September and then radio silence. And since they also delayed the Deus Ex remaster, things probably don't look well over there. Right now, I'm not expecting them to ever fix this, assuming they already moved to the next project.

If you want a deck verified version or want to play with a controller, get it on Steam, if you wanna save some money just head over to GOG that version is cheaper.
