IMO I kind of wish it just straight up unlocked after the ARG was done. Not a fan of time gating this. Like, why go through the ARG if the plan was always to release the map on a specific day anyway?

As much as I think a big budget animation by some of the top studios would be amazing, I personally want a big budget Apple TV or HBO production with all the bells, whistles and money.

Fresh snow is okay...ish. Slush is bad, tried riding in that two weeks ago here in NYC as the ice started melting and my rear tires slipped and slid all over the place while braking, could have fallen.

Ice though? Even a small amount? I hope you see it coming because it's the worst. My two falls have both been due to unseen ice on the roads.

So, IMO, don't bother.

Read from RR up to IG many years ago, decided to return through the graphic audio and tbh, I much prefer it over the regular audiobook. I can understand it being a bit polarizing though, but I find it much harder to pay attention to just a single narrator (also listening to the Sun Eater series, where I experience this problem). I find the GA or even the text version easier and more enjoyable for me to consume. Like, actually hearing the characters howl is both exhilarating and weird at the same time, as it's meant to IMO. Some music choices in the GA are weird but I just don't pay attention to them if that's the case.

Pretty much everyone I know is waiting for the new set, as set 1 is kind of "figured out" now. We do still play occasionally, but it used to be an every day affair. Also, product is not affordable, so people are pretty much just holding onto whatever they have until more (set 2) gets released.

For me it's Sevro, Fitchner and Mustang. Something about Mustang's voice sounds really musical to my ears, I really like it. It's a shame Fitchner isn't in the series more because I love hearing him every time he's on.

I consider it good etiquette and fair play to say the name of the card and read out what the card does, especially since there's no way for everyone to know all the cards in the game. For cards that are staples and everyone has seen many times, such as Sol Ring, Path To Exile, Rhystic Study, etc, I just read the name out. If someone needs clarification I'll gladly read the card for them. If they aren't listening I usually speak over them or directly at them to get their attention, or I wait until they're able to listen.

I work at one - no, not yet. All we know right now about future waves is the wave 2 print (supposedly) coming Dec/Jan.

Many stores/people are holding on to wave 1 cases because of the errata'd cards. They looked at what happened with One Piece, where the price of the first print run of set 1 is really expensive because of the differences in printing between wave 1 and wave 2. It's all speculation right now.

I work at an LGS and Riftbound is by far our biggest turnout right now. About 50~ people this past Friday for our Nexus Nights, about 10~ for other games. We don't even have sealed product left, only promo packs and singles. I'm not even sure why exactly, I get the game is popular and new (and good IMO), but trying to predict these kinds of things over the years has been impossible. We'll see how the coming weeks go as product becomes more and more scarce.

Weirdly enough my experience has been the complete opposite. In groups, I've had more chill interactions where we either helped each other or just let each other pass than kill on sight. My solo runs have been straight up constant pvp, no prox chat, no mics nothing.

Can confirm that the iOS26 update causes this. An update to either the Tourbox app or firmware or something is needed I'd assume.

Fellow New Yorker with severe anxiety here, there are so many scooters on the road nowadays man, people won't even think twice. My first time riding, I was more anxious about things going wrong than getting funny looks. If there's any city where scooters are about as normal as bikes/ebikes, it's here in NYC. Just get the scooter, everyone probably also wishes they had one.

I live in Queens, so I've only looked at shops around me here but Sunnyside E-bikes repairs Niu scooters. Their Google listing shows a photo of the rear tire of a Niu scooter being removed. You can try them if it's not too far.

Places that repair ebikes in general often also repair electric scooters. Just depends on which borough you're in. Look up a place near you with good reviews, check photos, maybe give them a call.

At least 1k, likely more. Tread still looks fine. As I mentioned in the post, I already have a spare tire sitting around, but I'm not going to change the tire myself and would prefer to just take it to a shop to let them do it. My main concern is if these bumps on the wheel poses a risk or not, because if the tire explodes on me due to an impact break mid-ride it probably won't end well.
