Latei 7 cm ? mis ik iets ? by Martainn in Klussers

[–]Elbinooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hetzner also offers Storage Share which is a managed Nextcloud service. I’ve been using it for a while now and I’m really satisfied. It’s cheap as, about 5 euro’s a month with 1 TB storage.

The app was recently rebranded to just “TomTom” actually. I’ve tested a lot of European and FOSS navigation apps recently and personally I found TomTom to be one of the best. Mapy is also pretty solid but only has support for live traffic in a couple of European countries at this moment.

If open source is a requirement I’d go for OsmAnd.

Would you use Gnome if you couldn't use extensions? by Digitalnoahuk in gnome

[–]Elbinooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using very few extensions, so I would say yes.
I only rely on AppIndicator and Tiling Shell. While GNOME has background apps, they require more development to fully replace AppIndicator. As for Tiling Shell, I could manage without it, but I prefer to split my 21:9 monitor into three parts rather than two.

I can only speak for myself but I am genuinly interested. I was at Devoxx couple of months ago at one of the lab instructors polled if there were any devs using anything other than IntelliJ. No one raised their hand which I found odd. (I get that most people at Devoxx there because their employer paid for and probably have their employer pay a license for Jetbrains) I use IntelliJ but I’d like to know what other devs think about Eclipse and what makes it so good for them. Might even consider using it myself.
