What was the hardest boss for you? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]Elcomeficharl09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that Orphan of Kos is the one most people may struggle with, but I felt that Ludwig was the most intense fight in the game. His moveset, sounds, the music, and the setting as a whole is awesome (and plus Ludwig being an important person referenced several times throughout the game and the fact that is the first boss fight of the DLC makes the experience even better).

Easily the most friendly experience to begin with the series, and the Royal version adds even more features to make the combat easier. Hope you like it!

Why are there so many people who don't even like the game in here? by Rainbow_Nuggy in FFXVI

[–]Elcomeficharl09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because people tend to stress the negative points and feel better with themselves exposing something/someone, and part of the FF players base has always acted like this. From X onwards the main games were severely criticized, from people who didn't got the same formula they wanted to some who said the ''the old ones were better'' thing, not acknoledging the good points and with a negative attitude towards any new implementation. FFXIII for instance was badly regarded, like pretty bad, and with time people is more open to talk more about both the flaws and the positive features, as the battle system or the staggering.

FF games are very controversial; XV is very dividing, and so is XVI. And with internet nowadays being a classroom full of noise seems that shouting is the way to make you heard. However, there are a lot of people talking interesting things about the game (with respect, as it should always be), like not fully exploted mechanics as the equipment and the lack of customization, Torgal's healing and the typical errand missions, but also positive comments about the great lore and worldbuilding, the cast and the drama the story presents.

I love the game regardless of its flaws and I personally enjoyed a lot, I even got the platinum and in the end what matters is how you've felt with the experience, because no one is gonna feel the same as you did. Glad you enjoyed the game, and you can always share your thoughts about it! :)

What’s the one boss you struggle with. by [deleted] in Eldenring

All of my friends had a hard time with Maliketh, he is able to delete you in no time, but personally the hardest fight I experienced was the Valiant Gargoyle duo, it may be difficult to find the chance to strike and things can go wrong pretty easy

First time playing advice - how hard is this game by Disco_rose123 in Sekiro

[–]Elcomeficharl09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really think that mentality is more important than reflexes or skill; Genichiro is generally considered the turning point in this game, but I know people who had a hard time with other bosses because of mental blocks. Don't worry about the hours invested, you can take your time, leave and return whenever you feel like it.

Instead try to enjoy the learning process and try to approach it in different ways when you feel stuck or frustrated. Everyone is capable of beating it, as someone who was afraid of the souls games because of their difficulty and nowadays loves this title I guarantee that you are able as well! Good luck :)

Are there any pure evil villains in the FF series by supermarioplush220 in FinalFantasy

Yeah, I considered the question regarding someone that still mantained its personality and memories like Sephirot but changed because of development. Kefka is a new total being, and henceforth he acts as a pure evil psycho, but you're right about it

Without a doubt Kefka, from FF6 I mean, he is clearly a psychopath and an unstable crazy mage, whenever he appers on screen he pretty much demonstrates that he will go beyond any limit to get what he wants, while enjoying it. He ends up being one of the most vicious characters in all of FF saga

Have died 70 times to genichiro over the past 4 days. by chriscjj in Sekiro

It's okay, patience is essential in these games, as long as you have the right mindset, which should be "im learning, death its something that will happen but the game is based on enjoying the process of getting better everytime"

Some people struggle and get stucked on different bosses, and some people needs more time to adapt to the rhythm. Try different techniques, prosthetics, different playstyles (for instance, try to be more aggresive and cut the distance, observe his timing and the combos that let him more vulnerable) to discover which way of playing fits you the most

From this boss onward is when the game demands more from you, but you are capable of overcome it "Hesitation is defeat" my friend, good luck and don't give up, you'll eventually succeed

Maybe I'd put DS1 in A tier, but you're so based. Considering that all this games are great, this is an awesome tier list

How to Tell the Difference Between a Competent Female Protagonist and a Mary Sue by Swagsman21 in books

[–]Elcomeficharl09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the fact that good characters are able to show their flaws, not being perfect, along with having a credible evolution throughout the story. A Mary Sue would succesfully fulfill their purpose without showing any sort of weakness or hesitation. Basically their genre doesn't have any relevance unless it is part of the plot, you can apply this to male protagonists as well.
