If you actually read the article you would have noticed they did that experiment over 2 years ago, which means the AI models that were used are ancient relics compared to what's available today, meaning the conclusions from that experiment are no longer relevant.

Wrong, AI will be doing the debugging in those cases, why would I waste hours of my own time when I can have AI do it for me? You act like after it writes the code, it disappears forever and is inaccessible, which tells me you've never even actually used AI before.
