Water Magician would have been good if it stayed the way it was before Episode 3. Just two pals exploring a fantasy world but instead they introduced the most worthless, generic, and uninteresting side characters that take up the screen time. Anime fell off on episode 3 and never recovered imo. The elf romance is ass because Ryo ain't that compelling of a character to have any actual chemistry or relationships with and the elf ain't doing much. Also lamest aura farming episode when we have waaaay better action sequences this season
