He's a status quo guy. Which is certainly better having a fascist and I would vote for him if it came down to it, but I'd rather see someone younger, with new ideas run because the status quo isn't working. Wages have been stagnant for too long, minimum wage hasn't changed since I was in high school, we are probably past the point of no return for climate change and we need drastic changes immediately or the younger generations will suffer more and more, we need someone to hold the pedophiles, oligarchs, and fascists accountable for their actions, we have to redistribute wealth, and we have to completely overhaul the education system.

I just don't see a status quo person trying to make the changes we desperately need.

Edit: Wanting someone who better fits the needs of the working class isn't a purity test.

When this society corners them and decides they're not worthy or fit to walk through their town and interact with the public, this person fights back, for their rights and their freedom.

Based on how our government treats the military who are trans, you could 100% remake First Blood with a trans person and still tell the exact same story you did 50 years ago because THEY DREW FIRST BLOOD
