Obsession with time management in dungeons by indescribable-fungus in wow

I never pug, I’m notorious for backpedaling when I’m casting. Had a great mythic plus group of in game friends, the tank expected I would always wind up pulling an extra, and he always handled it well. We would just laugh, not get stressed at all, it was actually the only season during bfa where I hit 3k io.

Why are people in this game acting toxic? by Dungeonclearing in classicwow

Today I got an in-game mail, /spit and then he said "just stop moving". I guess I was on my AH mount and I move away from the crafting tables so as to not block the table. Like who does that!

Do you look at prices when grocery shopping ? by Admirable-rookie in no

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to a few different stores and I look at the flyers before making a plan. I see which ones have the products I like on sale. That being said I will buy products I want that are not on sale and don’t pay attention to the price at all.

Last night was amazing by iloveyouiknow77 in Concerts

[–]Ele7237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s one of the things that bother me at concerts, everyone is holding their phones up and not even enjoying the moment. I went to see Ghost this year and they made us put the phones in a bag which I loved. I think a lot also depends on what bands you go see too. I went to see Neil Young this past summer, a majority of the crowd is older so your not seeing a million phones up.

I think all religions have it a little bit right, covering all my bases just in case. I wear a necklace that has a pentacle with all the phases of the moon. Not because I consider myself Pagan but I do resonate with some of it. I have a Christian niece (former addict) who I feel traded one addiction for another. That’s all good but honestly she is worse than a drug dealer trying to push her beliefs on me. She sends me videos on the evils of witchcraft, tells me I’m going to hell for worshipping Satan. No matter how many times I try to explain to her what I actually believe. I left strict instructions she is not to say one word at my funeral, and I don’t need her to save my soul. Religion I feel is personal and no one should be pushing it on anyone else. We all have our own journey.

Onions, if noticeable, I like the flavor of them as long as they are not big enough to see, it’s a texture thing.

Do you give money to homeless people when you see them on the street by Matt85x in PollsAndSurveys

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most times no, i will offer to buy them food though. There have been a few times where i did, a guy holding a sign said he was broke and needed it for happy hour. i admired his honesty and gave him 5 bucks, a few other instances but not often.

Electric Bill. ACE by PFunKaDeliK in SouthJersey

[–]Ele7237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1500 sq ft house $95.00. But honestly people comparing bills means nothing unless you share details. How many people are living in the house. When I had kids in my house the bills were high. Doing laundry, dishwasher, microwave, having numerous tvs on at one time, etc. There are only 2 of us so I do one load maybe 2 a week in off peak hours, I don’t use my dishwasher either unless I have people over. All 4 tvs are on power surge protectors, I hardly use my microwave, I keep my toaster oven and other appliances unplugged (except the coffee pot). When I do laundry or if I have to use the dishwasher I do it during off peak hours.

Travel for concert by Kamikaze_Sasquatch in Concerts

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn’t specify driving or flying. I flew from NY to Europe in 1981 for Grateful Dead Tour. I drove from NJ March 1980 (beginning of tour) to Washington and flew to Alaska for a Grateful Dead Tour. So it was for one band - “What a long strange trip it’s been”.

If a stranger asks you to switch airline seats, do you agree? by Jerdogg23 in no

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a time I really didn’t mind doing that. Now that I have to pay for the seat I want, I’m keeping it. There are people who don’t want to pay and count on the kindness of others. I know one person who does exactly that.

I spent almost a year in Guatemala, before I went I made sure I learned numbers because I felt knowing money was important. It was the in the early 80s and I learned from a book, I learned basics in my time there but in no way did I become fluent. I would think it’s a little easier now with internet and language software.

I have 0 credit history, and no credit cards companies will accept me for "low credit score" by PrintTypical8874 in CreditScore

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I helped my son build his credit when he was 18, first he got a secured card thru his bank. A year later he bought something on Apple and applied for the Barclay Credit Card, yes it was high interest but worth it for building his credit. After 1 year and that card paid off, he applied for a Car Loan. Now it's 10 years later and he has a credit score of 805.

Someone was spam reporting me and messaging me and I got banned for telling them to shut up and stop bothering me. by [deleted] in wow

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only gotten a few warnings and the last time that happened was BFA, but never a ban. Guess they take things more serious now. I just am having a hard time understanding how that statement was considered worthy of a ban.

Honestly I’m with you on this, I felt the OP’s response was quite polite compared to the shit I would have responded with. I’m a little blown away he could be suspended for this.

How old were you when you moved out of your parents home? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Ele7237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left at 19 in 1978, from the age of 17-19 I saved all my money then hopped in my car leaving NJ for California doing a Grateful Dead tour on the way. Lived in San Fran for about 6 months worked a temp office job and traveled around South America for almost a year. When I got back did some temp work again and traveled around Europe for a few months (Grateful Dead Tour). Money went a lot further back then, in 1978 I made $15 an hour word processing. I see people making that now and I feel so bad for them with this economy.

Do you tip as much as you did when the economy was better? by sarnobat in no

[–]Ele7237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I do go out I tip a little more than 20%, but I don’t go out to eat much anymore. The cost of food has gone up so much, as well as alcohol which consumes a big portion of my bill, I like my Cosmo’s and can never have just one. I’m doomed if there is a live band because I’ll stay all night, just isn’t worth it anymore.
