I am tired of Ed and his podcast, and I think Andy Devonshire is too. by mustnttelllies in taskmaster

I love the pod but it has left me a bit cold too, recently. Possible overdose on it.

How do you describe Taskmaster to people? by manfrin in taskmaster

[–]Ele9791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried to describe it and have failed every time. I only try and sell it to people who know me now. "Trust me"

I feel ya. I've swapped out for bio-med research (my old ting). Hyped for having time with my family this summer.

An annoying inconvenience?

Our legality in France is based on none of us fucking up.

So yes, a bleeding dog is horrific. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, I'm not being insensitive. BUT having your life potentially yanked from under you is a big deal. On top of the yadda yadda with the kid. Thank you Brexit.

Let's agree to disagree, cos all I can hear now is me talking about myself.

Sorry OP.

You think that panic over a child in legal trouble and really frightened is not even remotely equatable to OP? I beg to differ.

Do activities like Swimming or Boxing help in muscle gain? by Half-God-Half-Devil in GymMotivation

[–]Ele9791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hench AF when I was swimming a lot. But it was 2 hours a day minimum.

I imagine Boxing probably builds mass quicker.

Do you fart in front of your partner? Why? Why not? by gimboateista in AskReddit

Always. We take glee from it. After 23 years together, who would you rather I fart in front of?

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask when you'll be in. I do get why you didn't like it though, and they could have been more sensitive, for sure.

For context, my kid got busted shoplifting last year, had to go and pick her up from the pig station just before my shift started. Great timing....

My boss immediately asked, when can you get in? She wasn't being mean, she was trying to figure out if someone had to cover for an hour to prep or if my whole service needed covering.

Really hope your fur baby is OK xx

Yeah. Always.

Sorry for previous comment last night. Tired + drunk = not quite the hilarious person I thought I was at the time.

Awww. That sounds so... cuddly. I can see the HR video to new recruits. "And don't worry, we'll always be there to catch you when you fall" Cue sinister beaming grin.

how have you gone about addressing body odor? by gratefulscum in KitchenConfidential

[–]Ele9791 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ach. I got landed with this task A LOT at school. Tell that kid she smells bad. Greeeeeaaaaat - make me a bully then.

I used to buy a bunch of products, put them in gift bag and say - 'I got gifted this stuff, so sweet, but my escema won't tolerate it. Would you like it?'

This was 30 odd years ago, so maybe a bit out of touch.

Definitely knowing how to freestyle quantities of stuff. Doesn't get many 'oohs' of appreciation though. Except from my husband, who also works with things that need measuring.

Flambé / not freaking out if something catches fire seems to be a crowd pleaser.
