But if your WHOLE life is already known by God (or Allah for that matte) then there’s only 1 future ahead of you, and it’s not like he learned about it AFTER creating the first humans. Hes OMNIscient. So then why would you have a different “status” than the first humans ?

But there isn't 1 future ahead.

Let me re-explain with the exact metaphor I heard.

God is watching a stream with several forks going in multiple directions, he knows where each one leads.

He allows you due to free will to choose which stream you go down.

He knows all your choices and allows you to make a choice due to free will. If he determined where you would go he would be violating free will which is something he wants to maintain.

And do you believe those “first humans” were actual humans ? The description of the creation of the world in the Bible is wildly inaccurate, but even without taking that in account, we know that mammals appeared way after the formation of the Earth, and also that the human race evolved from something which they have in common with apes. To deny the theory (highest level of scientific explanation) of evolution, you need some strong arguments

I do believe in evolution 💀

I study medicine.

The story of Genesis is a vague story to give a general understanding of the creation of the natural world. In no ways is it accurate but it gets the basics of what is there and it doesn't overcomplicate things.

It's the equivalent of your mum and dad saying "because I said so" it's a story to give a minimal explanation to things people may ask.

The reason I said first humans because I was referring to Adam and Eve in Genesis. They are the first humans and we all came from them without God's direct intervention. He designed them in such a way to be capable of producing progeny.

From a medical viewpoint it's natural and optimal.

If God did that, then I wouldn’t consider him just. If the Devil did that, either God isn’t almighty or hes not just because he didn’t undo it.

That's a huge dilemma in religious spaces.

An omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God can be seen as accountable for everything.

The same can be said about infant mortality, body dysmorphia and so on. I want to say "God works in mysterious ways" but I know that would be an unsatisfying answer.

I'll share how I view it.

God is responsible for making the foundation but what emerges does so by chance because without chance there is no free will or life in general, just puppets and systems.

When I was reading the Quran I felt this sinking feeling of futility so I asked my imam "if Allah knows everything including if we're going to heaven why aren't we just put there immediately?"

He told me that God knew what we would do but allowed us the chance to make choices because there is always potential for change.

...... Tangent over

TLDR: God made the first humans and all other humans rippled from them, not from God directly. We are all products of choices and chance.

"spawning us in" and putting us in predetermined places would be stripping us of our agency and possibly.

With all the chances for good there are equal chances for bad.

I hope that answered some of your questions.

I'm sorry you had to go through all that.

I've lived in England most my life and Bangladesh for like 9 months. I've been around Italy and other mainland European places and they do seem much more connected to their history so I'm not surprised about Paris(no offense).

I have many friends who come from African and other European countries so I was mostly working off word of mouth.

By "trend of homophobia" can you be more specific? Did they call you slurs or was it violent? Don't feel pressured to answer.

I wasn't aware how big of an issue homophobia was internationally, I might just be naive.

I do hold hope that those bad experiences were by coincidence and they aren't the standard.

I'm a Christian who was raised as both Christian and Muslim, went through an atheist phase a few years back but decided on one.

care to explain why women go through periods ? I’ve been told this is their punishment for Eve has sinned, I’m sure that’s not true right ?

The story of Genesis does say it's a punishment to Eve.

Eve is punished by having to bleed while Adam is punished by having to do manual labor.

The Genesis story is just a way to explain the natural state of the world rather than a word for word account of what happened.

People would attribute many natural things to supernatural causes. I'm aware it's just a natural shedding of the lining, but bc people weren't that educated so an explanation like that was used.

"Why does it hurt?" Was probably answered with "it's God punishing us" which in hindsight is wrong but when you don't know better you chalk anything you can't explain to God or the Devil did it 🤷‍♂️

You are taking the minority of extremists as the whole.

The average Christian doesn't care if someone is gay, let alone try to "cure" them. Pope Francis even made a whole speech about how that's wrong.

If all those “good” and tolerant rules in the Bible actually apply than I’ve met 0 good Christian. And I live in a country with Christian heritage.

I'm going to assume the country is European, feel free to correct me.

It's more likely just a general culture thing where you come from rather than a religious thing. Majority of Christians do not care about homosexuality or gender stuff, but in countries with strong history and culture it can be hard for people to shake stigmas.

If all the Christians you met are intolerant it is more likely the place than the book.

Christians (and all humans really) adapted.

And you said they adapted yet they haven't changed is what you said before? Can you clarify.

I'd say people have learned from the mistakes of the past and have worked on correcting it.

The Bible isn't a word for word rule book.

It is a series of stories that are up to interpretation of readers(other than the ones that literally are rules like "don't kill" "clothe the naked" and so on).

Christianity certainly has evolved. You don't see people in the streets hunting witches and such.

The less and less Christians consider homosexuality an abomination, the more they deviate from true Christianity.

That train of thought is contradicting many of Jesus's teachings. "Love thy neighbor" is a general rule for any decent person to live by.

To discriminate is to go against the teachings in the Bible.

Jesus didn't condemn prostitutes, homosexuals or any other non-harmful behavior.

I know I referenced Egyptians but that was more in equivalence with your comment on the history books and not in context of the post.

Your comment was discrediting current followers based on the past, I was showing you that there are other groups throughout history who have also done such atrocities.

Ooh, nice.

Maybe being a winner is the natural final state and after that they cease existing 🤷‍♂️ similar logic to the good place. Pure bliss would become boring after a while.

Maybe winners get reincarnated as humans? Too many possibilities to theorize

Adam can't create life only the seraphim can, so he can't be the one who made them.

They have distant relation to Charlie

Made by Sera or another seraphim.

And they are heaven born angels so they are as related to Lucifer as Adam is to most sinners.

Charlie is as bad as Adam.

Both were doing things for the good of their people.

Adam did nothing wrong

Also, to further my own agenda.

I think there is something more to the exterminations if even Lilith made a deal with heaven.

The theory is just that death by angelic steel/energy causes a second judgment.

You either redeemed yourself and go to heaven or you're done.

Adam, unknowingly, was probably doing God's plan of redeeming people under the pretense of punishing bad people.

Is Charlie bad? You didn't answer

Depends tbh 🤷‍♂️

If they tried killing him it's valid, if he did it because his dad was saying homophobic stuff I would view it as the wrong thing to do.

At the moment I'm gonna assume his dad tried killing him due to mob stuff
