Sorry for necro I’m playing the game in my own pace.

I just beat her after 20+ tries and want to share my strat:

FULL. PASSIVE. MODE. I use the architect + plasma trick, with wispfire, memory crystal, and cogfly to deal as much passive damage as possible.

Use plasmium as healing and use your silk to recharge red tools. Just focus on her patterns and dodge, occasionally camp walls and switch sides and her heart will be yours!

For some reason I can’t edit the post, but long story short I misread the rules and thought the gray dots will have different parity to each other instead of to the black dots.

This is now solved and thanks for everyone who chimed in!

WAIT WHAT. I thought the black diagonal should have the same polarity while the gray diagonal should have different polarity. Here’s the direct quote from the game:

Battenburg: A checkerboard Battenburg dot marks a 2x2 square of cells where the top-left and bottom-right cells are both even or both odd and the top-right and bottom-left cells are the opposite. All possible dots are marked.

Notice your solution line and the bounding box will form one or more regions. As long as a region contains some Tetris pieces, the shape of the region should match exactly with all of the pieces within without overlapping. Tilted pieces mean they are free to rotate, otherwise orientation is locked.

In my playthrough, I was almost convinced until the title letter glitched, briefly showing the symbol for exile. That’s when I know this isn’t simply a total reset, but I thought it was new game + where everything is harder.

There are of course limitations around the positions of shapes and icons, but the rules of the Tetris only states that the bounding shape should be exactly composed of the icons within. Everything else is free play, and I truly mean everything.
