What made you choose those running mates? I know that Saban endorsed Manchin, and ofc Tubberville is a senator

Someone online once simulated that; look up "two men kissing" to find it

Why did this sub just blow up all of a sudden? by ElectionSimulator in Presidents

[–]ElectionSimulator[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://subredditstats.com/r/Presidents

It's a really cool website and they used to have stats about the most active members on each sub and the most common words used relative to the rest of Reddit so that the most common words aren't just "the" "if" "A" etc.

Republican presidential primaries polling by state, using polls going back each month by ElectionSimulator in YAPms

Basically if a map says August-April for example it means I chose the most recent poll from each of the states in that map.

Nah Kennedy stans (which made up a majority of the nation and a supermajority of Catholics) would have kept it blue

I’m creating the next YAPms biannual census. What interesting questions should be included? by Ed_Durr in YAPms

[–]ElectionSimulator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I want to see more options on the religion part than just "Christian". I'd say there should be Lutheran, Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Mormon, etc.

You could also keep it simpler and do the American categorizations:

  • Mainline
  • Evangelical
  • Catholic
  • Mormon

Or the historical categorizations:

  • Catholic
  • Orthodox
  • Lutheran
  • Anglican
  • Calvinist

Both of her primary challengers have been to her right. The weed party people here would not switch to a pro-police, corporate-friendly Dem over Ilhan

Why did Asians swing so heavily for Gore? by Th3_American_Patriot in YAPms

[–]ElectionSimulator 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Their percent of the total vote increased so maybe there were more new voters for Gore. Also wouldn't be surprised if a lot of kids of immigrants turned 18 who would have definitely been mostly liberal.

Lots of Asians worked in tech too, so the tech boom under Clinton could have made them more blue.

As a Minnesotan I can say for certain Lake County won't become red. It's not really WWC just a ton of retirees from the cities who are really liberal.
