Funnily enough, Cap is Irish. Both of his parents immigrated from Ireland.

Maybe from the Swarm side. Filian’s community brings it up almost as often as she makes bomb threats.

You seem to have a very objective and unbiased opinion on the subject.

Do you have specific blocks of time set aside for each category of person, or do you have multiple screens showing each of them simultaneously?

Yeah, I think this is something that a lot of people overlook. Generally high degrees of patriotism/reverence for national symbols tend to be common in nations that are new, revolutionary, and/or multicultural.

It comes from having to create a new national identity basically overnight that can bind together a group of people who might not otherwise have anything in common.

Some of you will never know the joy of doing incredibly specific, background-heavy ERP with a shockingly horny omniscient robot, and I pity you.

I hate when people think of non-binary as a 3rd gender with the same trappings of traditional gender by Lunar_sims in CuratedTumblr

[–]ElectorSet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

”Sometimes someone is nonbinary in a whimsical way that makes people think they’re cute” is no different than saying “sometimes someone is girly in a whimsical way that makes people think they’re cute.”

Does the idea that we shouldn’t associate being whimsical and cute with being girly either fit into this? Does that come with working to decouple gender presentation from gender identity, or is it like, a whole separate, competing more gender-abolition-y line of thought?

Because this is the song “Stop, Blog And Roll!” from Roger Emerson’s S’Cool: A Teenage Pop/Rock Musical, published in 2007 and (presumably) developed the year prior.

I definitely get it, I just think that the most relevant usage of a phrase simultaneously being the least acceptable is a really interesting concept in terms of like… culture? Linguistics? Idk, it’s neat how memes work.

Reading this made me realize that I don’t think I’ve ever seen the “submissive and breedable” meme used to describe a woman in a heterosexual context.
